  1. Looking at JLU considering 4runner

As a former FJ Cruiser owner, I want to love the 4runner, but it needs an updated powertrain - more hp and an 8 speed transmission, and Apple Carplay before I would consider it.
  2. Upcoming JLU Rubicon purchase - Electronic Infotainment Package vs. standard radio/7.0 screen?

Can anyone confirm that you need the 8.4 in order to get the advanced safety package?
  3. New colors available on the Gladiator! Available for JL soon?

Gobi or Hydro Blue may have been my top choice. Maybe these are coming for the 2020 Wrangler.
  4. 2019's with ACC EWWWWW

    It can be disabled.
  5. 2019's with ACC EWWWWW

Would probably rarely if ever use the ACC, but I would get this option solely for the automatic emergency braking. In 5 years, I'm guessing every car will have AEB, so you should be able to get your money back for this option at resale time.
  6. Who else is in the "I'm still waiting to buy a Wrangler club"? What are you waiting for?

I am going to order a 2019 unless the plug-in hybrid comes out next summer, in which case I may order that instead. The $7500 federal tax credit should offset the higher price.
  7. Who else is in the "I'm still waiting to buy a Wrangler club"? What are you waiting for?

Waiting for my X3 lease to end in July. For now, will just stalk local Jeep dealer lots. Sahara 2.0 - either white or Punk-n.
  8. Adaptive Cruise Control 2019- need report from new owners

Thanks for finding the 2019 build page!
  9. Sahara or Sport S

After I would have added side steps (for my kids) to the Sport S, the price difference was $2100 between the Sahara and Sport S. I prefer the 18 inch wheels and like the Sahara base rims more than the Sport S base rims. Upgraded suspension and brakes, better looking front bumper, and the...
  10. 2019 Jeep Wrangler Ordering Shows 3.0L CRD Diesel V6 (w/Manual Transmission?) and 3.6L BSG Engines!

Do you all think the 3.6L BSG will match the 2.0 Turbo in mpg? If mpg is similar, I am less inclined to spend the extra $1k on the 2.0 for minimal performance benefits and potential reliability concerns.
  11. 2019 in Norcal

I have heard good things about South County Jeep in Gilroy. You should be able to get close to 5% off invoice from them.
  12. On Pavement: Sport, Sahara or Rubicon?

Per Car and Driver tests, the Rubicon w auto had a grip of 0.68 g and braking of 212 feet from 70 mph. Sahara was 0.73 g and braking of 176 ft.
  13. Official 2019 Wrangler Info Inside

Will the forward collision warning and ACC be bundled together with the blind spot monitoring or available as a separate safety package?
  14. Option Advice...what's worth it & what do you wish you took a pass on?

1st time poster here. After research and test drives, I am about to order a Sahara and trying to keep msrp below $50k. Below are the options ranked from must haves to "I'd think about it if it were free". Must Haves 1) Turbo 2.0 (I drive about 80% city so I am hoping for an extra 3-4 mpg with...
