Not looking to ruffle any feathers, but just as an FYI the 5-year/60K is from the date the vehicle is put into service. I bought a new 2018 JL in July of 2019 so I still have ~6 months left on my original powertrain warranty. It's possible (unlikely though) the OP is in the same boat. Mine sat on the lot for so long because no one in my area wanted a base-model Sport. Lucky me!!!!
Radiator and thermostats are a 3/36 item anyway. But yes, I shouldn't use absolutes. Yet.

And the warranty period starts the day the vehicle is sold.
They sold like hotcakes in 2018 with only very rare exceptions like a weird build or lost tracking in shipment.

Hopefully it's a water pump and OP can get covered. Otherwise, he's getting an oversized repair bill with 1 hour diag slapped on top to tell him his radiator is leaking down the drivers side seam.

2019’s started being built in late summer of 2018.
It's based on the sale date, not manufacturing date. My 2018 drivetrain warranty is up this month, because I bought it 5 years ago.

Sounds like the guy has a thermostat sticking. But who knows? Internet diagnosis is worth whatever the OP pays.

This is what the dealership quoted for my problems:

Replace radiator, Found left side of radiator leaking coolant at core to tank seal
$1186+tax

Replace right bank front VVL solenoid seal, found Leaking oil onto valve cover
$244+tax

Any suggestion if I should proceed or look for a local mechanic in phoenix area?

Hey you can pay that diagnosis fee to me

Do you have the tools and skills to replace it yourself? It’s a simple job. Any mechanic could do it for less.

Ignore the VVL solenoid leak. That’s nothing.

When I saw the OP post that it was the left side, I thought to myself "@mwilk012 nailed that one!" Seems to be the common failure point.

Thanks, I do have some skills (in no way I have ever done this work) and tools but time is a big thing right now given I have a 1 week old baby at home. Not able to find time to work on Jeep at the moment.

It takes about an hour. Buy a radiator and 2 gallons of coolant, a drain pan, and save $1000.
