The AC condenser is in front of the radiator. Just because it’s clear doesn’t make the radiator clean. Take the plastic cowling off over the radiator and make sure leaves or road debris is not between the 2 Impeding the air flow.
Will do, I am planning on also removing the entire grill for better access to the radiator as well. Any other tips for reaching it?

In Texas. Lot of clay there. My bet is on a dirty radiator.
I actually just moved here a week ago, Noticed the overheating issue during the 1500 mile drive over. We will find out tomorrow though

Update
I sprayed out the radiator from the engine side and straight chocolate milk came out for about an hour. I got what I could with the fan in the way but I am going to remove the fan in order to get the rest of the radiator.
It seems to be running a bit cooler but we will see what ends up happening as I drive it more and how it runs once I clean out the rest with the fan removed

Any tips on removing the fan?

Do a quick search for one of the radiator replacement threads, it has every detailed step from the service manual in it. Replacing the radiator is pretty cheap, if it won’t clean up.

Well folks the updates with be temporarily paused as my jeep was hit while parked outside a house. Only a scratch on the fender but the suspension is so damaged it isn’t drivable. I’ll keep y’all updated
