2018 Rubicon lights service electronic Throttle control

Well, I was also driving my Rubicon and I lost engine power pedal to the floor not going very fast. Service electronic throttle control and stability control lights came on.. Car went into limp mode while I was on the freeway driving home, yikes!
I made an appointment to bring it in to Jeep dealer tomorrow. With all the threads I've read, it does not seem like anybody has really pinpointed the problem. I often go into the mountains where there is no service, and down to Mexico where there are no real Jeep service centers... so this is a big concern to me. Any advice?

I had this issue with my 2018 JL. I was told that I may have accidentally hit the gas and brake at the same time which may have confused the drive by wire gas pedal. I did have the pedal commander installed which may have made it worse. But after removing the PC It never happened again.
