He's done a shitton to his RX and it's all torn apart now getting.....you guessed it, seals. They are awesome cars and even cooler engines.

The rotary is what got the automotive deep hooks in me. Never thought I would own one with how prices were headed on them. Buddy said he knew a guy wanting to get rid of an FC and he was a big Miata guy. Told him if it started and ran I would trade him the Miata plus a little cash and if it didnt just trade straight up. Well it didnt start a year later and almost $12k in parts (I paid a total of $970) it was running again. Its such a fun car and cant wait for it to run again. Drives totally different than anything else out there.

Hey, our intern told us today that he was at a high school soccer tourney in DE last year and there were a bunch of furies from a local convention staying at his hotel. Any chance you were there?
That's Glen and Ricky's whole scene, and East Coast is Glen's stomping ground. I'm deeply sorry that you had to visit Delaware, I hope the experience wasn't too tragic.

LOL, it wasn't me, I swear. It really was our intern. One of the ladies in our office told us her sister wanted her to move to Selbyville, DE. I asked her of all the places in DE why in the hell would anyone move to Selbyville. The shore at least has the beach, but Selbyville is is smack in the middle of HellDeware.

Damn, I guess I am too OLD SCHOOL! There was a time in my life that if you could run 15 inch wheel with 31 inch tires on a Jeep you were pretty bad ass.
IIRC, it took a 3” lift to fit 33/12.50’s on my 63. The ride sucked with the leaf spring lift, I even pulled out a spring on each, hardly noticeable.

6 Monkeys is about 2 hours away. I'm heading there early next week and grabbing a new front bumper.
I remember the 31x10.50 days too!!

So true there. They have come a long way with the Wrangler from the CJ Roots. My 74 CJ5 was the first I ever owned and I had some Armstrong Tires on that ride due to an Uncle that worked for that company. This was during my duty assignment in New Mexico and the roads/trails I drove it on were a huge experience for me. I miss that area of the country for sure.

My TJ had 31’s also and it did ride better than the CJ for sure. For to having kids I got into a 2003 WJ which I feel was one of the best of the Grand Cherokees. Kept that beast over 10 years.

My JK was stock for the most part. I put 32 inch Mud Terrains on that, and for the wife and I that was a mistake due to the noise.

This JL I have now came with the Willys Mud Terrains and will be getting a good 33 inch BFG here next week. The ride I am sure will be better, and the noise will somewhat be reduced.

But I’ll tell you what, I LOVE driving that Jeep. It is a very capable Jeep and does more than I can imagine.

On road : 17" is a softer ride

Off road: 17" means you can air down more.

Stick with 17"
