Got my Jeep today! I am tall it was a tight fit, but PST and auto helped me fit in (soft top roof is higher, auto and no shifting = no banging leg).
Its absolutely amazing, I was worried about steering issues, but so far its super sharp and dialed in. Engine and Transmission are so damn smooth! I checked the welds and they were fine.

I know I did not have the custom order wait (I wanted to do fitment testing on the lot), but I have been waiting to buy since a year before launch, so am excited

I got the first 2 door pumpkin that I have seen (or any of the local Jeep guys either) in my area. Pretty excited, its a simple model, but I can beef it up over time

Just one of the many things a GoPro can do! I had my doors off and my GoPro on a selfie stick. The GoPro Hero6 Black has a built-in gimble which stabilizes the video while you move around.

I got my tire carrier on today, the tire carrier was easy, taking off the stock one was a pain. To many torx bolts. Tomorrow i have to install the camera, brake light , and lic. plate kit.

how did the phone conversation go about the ill fitting bumper?

So after almost 6 months, I have my Jeep! Loving it. I put 35” tires and a winch on it. Waiting for my lift kit.

These are pictures taken on the way back to Vancouver. Beautiful drive through the Rocky Mountains.

Got the YJ out today for some comparisons, but then lost the sun pretty quickly. Hopefully I'll get a few more up in the mountains tomorrow.

Had it for a week now and loving it. Although, not sure why they put the fuel filler cap so that it would always get in your way....

Anyway, 1995 YJ Sahara next to the JL that is finally here =)

The YJ definitely looks more old school Jeep, and also just smaller. Love em both though, and it is staying in the family.
