So, the last few mornings, when I start the Jeep, the heated steering wheel and seats are on. Anyone else experience this? Wondering if it senses the cold temp (it was snowing the other morning...) and turns them on automatically?
Thanks Alex and Gary. I think I will bite the bullet and order the Mopar mats. The rear mats will be handy and I know I'll end up regretting it if I don't get them... Saw this recently - JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket So true! lol
Thanks Nick and to everyone else who chimed in! I really like the Mopar mats with the logo. They're $230 Cdn, which includes two for the back (although, I removed the back seat). The Husky are $158 for the front two only. Ah, decisions, decisions... lol
Hey guys! I know there's a separate thread for this, but I'd like some opinions from my trusted Jeep peeps here on slush mats. My sales guy told me Weathertech are the best. I've also been looking at Husky Xact Contour. I need to get on this, as we'll have snow in 5-6 weeks. Been putting it...
Lol Parts of Winnipeg looked like that yesterday! It's 32F this morning, chilly. Going to be an early winter I think. :( My Jeep's been keeping me nice and toasty this past week though. Love that heated steering wheel! lol
I always get lots of waves! Although, maybe it's because I live in a province with a licence plate slogan that says 'Friendly Manitoba'... lol :giggle:
Mine too, I just wish it lasted a little longer here - we had wet flurries today...:( We're supposed to get back to normal temps soon. We normally don't get snow until Halloween.
Do you have Roots stores in the states? They make great socks for winter. It's a Cdn company, so they know warm! lol Loving all the single ladies too - I think there's a song in there somewhere...;)
Well, I've always loved fashion, but as I've become more grown up, I've managed to be a lot less impulsive with my purchases (which is why I haven't bought the boots yet!). I ask myself is this a 'need' or a 'want? Now the Jeep, I needed and wanted it! lol
Lol I remember that episode Alex! I'm also single and have decided not to have kids. Mopar registry is a great idea! Although, I'm a girlie girl, so would also register with Penelope Chilvers (British designer) for the riding boots I've been pining away for! lol
Hey Lydia, so sorry to hear that. It's always hard to lose co-workers. For many of us they are like extended family, as we often spend more time with them than our real families. Take care.
I agree. Like I said, it's totally worth it. I look forward to driving it every day and get a stupid, giggly grin every time someone gives me the Jeep wave. lol And actually, it doesn't get much worse mileage than my VW did...
I don't know, but our gas has always been a lot more expensive than yours. It was cheaper a few days ago, then went up 60 cents/gallon overnight! And, any day now, we're supposed to be getting a 20 cent/gallon carbon tax added to the gas price. I keep saying good thing I bought a Jeep! lol
I've never named my cars, but I came up with this a few months ago and thought it quite appropriate. Her name is GiGi - which stands for gas guzzler! Gas here is the equivalent of $4.78/gallon. I love this thing so much though that I don't care! lol
