Nope. Engine Block Heater that was originally part of the cold weather group was removed. Mine, a manual, did not come with it.
Same here. No block heater.

I'm not likely to need it, but it would have been nice to have depending on where my travels take me.

All the Nubies are bringing back all those terrible waiting memories. Yes just memories
for us that waited so very long. They will become memories for you also in a short time.
Don't burn bridges with you dealer. It is not the Dealer's fault things are moving slow.
And your dealer has so much more to do other than "Check your Order". In my 4 1/2 month
wait I contacted him 3 or 4 times. My last contact got mine "Hot Tagged" and arrived in
3 days. Call 866# or 877# twice a day and Email Nicole twice a week. Write down all you
find out and average it out and there is your "Update". You all sound exactly like all of
us back when. We want to help so just ask and yes blow off steam !!!
Day 7 with my Jeep after 139 day wait. Thankfully I kept civil with my dealership. They really did a fantastic job and they got my Jeep in on Friday when it would likely have languished until mid-week the following week. When they could do something, they did and with gusto. I do enjoy this Jeep.

Oft said, but you will not believe until you get yours: It's worth the wait.

im not annoyed with my dealer for the wait...I know that's not their fault obviously...im annoyed with my salesman/sales manager because 1. I was told 6-8 weeks..i was foolish enough to not look into this before placing the order. a week after my order I found this forum. and read all about the dreaded wait I was about to encounter. this is their job they should've known much more about their most recognizable product.
2. when I found out about the wait especially for pst back in march. the manager simply said I do not believe that we will be having this conversation come late may/early june. I literally laughed at him. he said he would look into it more and do more research about the wait.
whichs leads to my 3rd issue with them. they never provided any updates. any update I found was on my own. that's now how you treat your customers. did I expect frequent updates, no but the occasional check up saying hey still no movement I apologize for this awful wait.
that's all. instead I got zero check ups on their behalf.

so that's why im irritated at my dealership.

I've been patient and maintained a good attitude until now. Ordered 2/15, 134 days ago, the snow has thawed, my local trails have opened and I don't have a Jeep. Seeing the 2019 info trickle out changed my attitude. I would have waited for '19 if I knew it would be this long.

I still believe Jeep waited with 2 door production for business reasons, they had to get the 4 door customers when they could because those not going offroad can satisfy their needs with any SUV. 2 door purists have no other option so they will wait.

The irony is that the business interest required Jeep to hold off on it's most loyal customers. Boo!
Agree Dirt32! Ordered 2/12amd now 3 weeks in D1. The worst part is seeing 2 doors being made that were ordered in April May and June plus 2 doors on dealers lots that were not customer ordered!

Your pictures should beat all others by a mile!!!
Wow, thanks! But I don't know... I've seen some awesome, professional quality photos posted. Jeep Wrangler owners are creative people! And in today's age of digital photography, any super creative person with a smart phone can take some really great photos and has been proven time and again on this very thread! But thank you so much for your encouraging comment!

Can't wait to see your pics! Be sure to take a bunch of them. I'm considering a build pretty similar to yours.
I will. Don't know where you are located down here, but I'm in the Orlando area and go everywhere. One of my first trips will be back down to a place called Dinner Island. It's a cool place and offers great opportunities for some good shots; especially aerial.

My dealer never even brought it up. The original price was what I paid.
Me too. They didn’t dare try to change the price. They did say they could get more for it now, but that’s it.

i honestly believe this to be to be true, the two door purist market is small but definitely loyal. there is just nothing else to compare. they knew we would suffer thru.
Yeah, my dad kept trying to convince me to get the Unlimited. He kept saying I'd have extra room, yada, yada.... I told him, "Nope! It's not a 'real' Jeep."

Regarding your steering wheel cover, looks nice but won't it hinder the use of your heated steering wheel?
Yeah...I thought of that and yes it does, but no real need for it here in the Bay Area. I got the cold weather package mainly for the heated seats and remote start.
