Painting my wheels black is #2 on my list of things to change on my Jeep. #1 is taking off the Rubicon decal.

finally got the new shoes today. and you know i’m old because i need that white lettering out.

for those interested, these are the same 285/70/17 ko2s in a C rating from the rubi, now available online with raised white lettering (or all black both sides)...looking at it in person, these should have been an option at purchase on sport s models, much more aggressive with wider stance, still just inside the fender (barely, maybe not entirely inside), only an inch or so taller but drives exactly the same on 3.45 gearing

I have had a few people ask me why I went 2-door, because it has little storage. From what I can tell it has a smidge more room than my wife’s Kia Soul, and that has been more than enough for us.

Plus I drive a freaking Miata! I can tell you all about what having little storage means :p

Fiat 124 spider so I am in the same boat. Bring that seat back up and there is plenty of easily accessible storage space

i had the seat out today to move some stuff around - and my wife used to have the kia soul - this is way more storage space! and with top down, you can drive home tall plants and stuff. seat was super easy. also ample room just flipped up and held with velcro straps, fits tons of crap that way too

Ok, aftter over 3 months it looks like there is some movement on my 2 door Sport S. I was informed there is a window sticker and build sheet created. Jeep told me last week it was heading to paint on Friday. Based on this information can anyone tell me when I should expect delivery, just outside of Chicago so shipping should be minimal.

For those that have been there before, does this means it is shipping soon? I'm sorry that I haven't been keeping up with postings about this-it just seemed like I would never get here.

jball check out my update.... i'm loaded on a train and looks like train left the station today!!!!! interesting that my estimated delivery is 1 day later than your first, but then 5 days sooner than your last. More uncertainty in a tweener stop to california than to deming nm for me? wonder if we are on the same train to albuquerque... btw, my 2 days from kz status received to railcar departure seems about average, so you should be either on that same train or one right after it no later than monday if all goes well...
