KZ!

Built pending inspection: 06/08/18 03:02:00 PM
Ingate / Rebay at Facility 06/08/18 03:04:00 PM TOLEDO, OH VDC
Production Status KZ Received 06/08/18 03:54:00 PM

Although this info came from the site whose name not need be mentioned, just went on Jeep Chat to try to confirm and "According to the information I was able to find it is currently on the assembly line."

Those who have made it this far and past it, can I rely on the non-Jeep Chat info above?
Get your garage cleaned, there's going to be a new JL in it soon!

I’m not the only one still smitten by Vida!:involve:

I’ve gotten to do a bit more driving this week & one thing I have noticed is when it comes to Jeep waves, 4 doors are !!!! Jerks!
That’s fine, though. That’s cool. Yinz just leave the Jeep wave to the elite purist 2 doors. :like::jk::rock: I’ve yet to have an unreturned wave from a fellow unicorn!!!:fist bump:
Good morning!

From my experience, the main goal of buying a car is getting the product you want at the price you are comfortable paying. I always felt uncomfortable telling people what kind of deal I got. Sometimes it was great, sometimes it wasn’t so great, but every time I was ecstatic about my purchase. Nowadays, the dealer cost/invoice BS is so convoluted it’s hard to know what to shoot for but for your build I would shoot for the mid 28500 range.
Well said, I agree!! I have yet to & won’t tell anyone who asks what I paid. I paid what I was willing to pay for my dream vehicle. I wanted her, she’s mine, that’s all that matters! :jk::involve:

You guys are tougher than I am about enduring the wait. They cannot even give me any hope of mine being in the driveway in July! If it's not built by July 4 I am gonna be out for this year. Been cross shopping a bit. Trouble is nothing can quite compare!!
If you really want it, hang in there! These are up and down emotions, justified, but ultimately we will get our Jeeps. There is another July 4th next year!

I agree, and many other factors could skew the "price". Low balling a trade-in, kickback from the bank the dealer gets if you finance it, etc. The dealers aren't going to lose money on the deal. And bottom line, some people have more assets than others.

My Rubicon PST arrived Wednesday and picked it up Saturday. A 500 Mile drive home from dealership to break it in. Stopped by a scenic view for some photo ops.

Thats awesome. Congratulations.. Thats the first red rubicon w/PST i've seen. I'm suppose to be getting mine in 2 weeks. I can't wait. This (waiting) nightmare is almost over. I'll probably put 500 miles coming home from my dealer, and it's only 2 miles from my house. Have fun...

From my experience, the main goal of buying a car is getting the product you want at the price you are comfortable paying.
Yes, so much this! For my last 3 new car purchases and now the Jeep I figured out what was my “happy zone price” and ran with it when shopping.

For my Miata that was MSRP, ended up getting 500 off loyalty as I had bought a Mazda 3 before. I knew well ahead of time the Launch Editions were going to mostly be MSRP, it wa well within my budget, so that was my happy zone.

Bought a Kia Soul the next year for my wife. Figured out my happy zone which was under MSRP by a good amount, went to a dealer and worked it out. They tried to negotiate on it, but settled early as I made it clear what I was going to pay.

Jeep was pretty painless. I saw the deal being offered in Houston on the forum, emailed a few local dealers asking if they could match, place a few miles from home matched.

There are a couple of things I won’t put up with. First being negotiating or being asked what I want for a monthly payment. Second thing is anything beyond tax, title, license and doc fee. And that doc fee must not go beyond the norm for my area.

On the above mentioned KIA they tried to hit me with 2k of dealer addons. Made it clear I would not pay it, they tried negotiating, I thanked them for their time and wife and I walked out. Salesman ran up to our car and said manager would waive the 2k.

Anyways, just some thought and how I have handled things.

Wow! PhotoGuy will be so envious of these photos!
Hahaha! I am! Yeah, not too many rolling hills here! Lol! I've seen some super nice shots from y'all! Can't wait to get my baby (her name is Stormie). I've already got several spots mapped out down here for photo shoots of her which will probably take me close to a month to complete & compile! :like:
