Did you notice any reception problems with this antenna?
I haven’t tried it. To be honest, I didn’t even try the local radio with the factory antenna. I live in a small town with crap reception so I’m strictly satellite & streaming.

Just got my filter up and running today, the cover comes off tomorrow
We were early this year. The water was like mud so it took a while. Deck painting is next! It was a rough winter!

WE have tons of 4 doors around here, there are a couple of 2 door sports 50 miles away.. If they had a limited slip I might go for it
why LSD? you get BLD in all jeeps, which covers most use cases, and you could use that 600 for tires!

i have an even shorter stubby, i think it’s like 6 or 7 inches, no reception issues - it’s already outside and forward on the vehicle, so a foot either way won’t improve outcomes

Am I the only person in the world that likes the Sports black steel wheels?
Painting my wheels black is #2 on my list of things to change on my Jeep. #1 is taking off the Rubicon decal.
No there are two of you

So lately been thinking about the Jeep I had (part of my dads collection) in high school back in the mid 80’s. It was a magical time when I had hair, long hair, and spandex pants were all the rage.

Anyways, I drove a 72 Jeep Commando for a couple years and wow, that thing was freaking awesome. Could climb a tree with it and plenty of room for friends. And built like a tank!

Some folks say CJ’s and two door Wranglers are the only real Jeep, I say that Commando proves them wrong.

Well, my wife and I decided last night to walk away from our order. We ordered back in January and it had become too frustrating after all of the various delays and now 2 weeks in KZ and no ETA on the horizon! So, jumped online last night and started searching through the inventory within 150 miles and found four that would fit the bill option wise. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 dealers seemed to want to play games when asked if they were sold orders or available for purchase. But as luck would have it, the 4th showed to be on the lot and at a dealer only 40 miles east of me. So, we called them this morning right at 9am when they opened and found out that the Rubicon was not sold. In fact, it had just been unloaded off the carrier this morning only an hour earlier. The salesman promised to hold onto the keys personally while they were doing the PDI and cleanup. So to make a long story short, we drove over and made the deal at a little after 2pm this afternoon for a black Rubicon. No more waiting!

Here's a little more proof that there's no rhyme or reason to the order in which builds take place or which they get shipped. This Jeep was just built on 5/29 at 1pm! My previous order went KZ 2 days prior on 5/27 and still has no ETA? Go figure :headbang:

Ordered on 1/6. The last 154 days (22 weeks today) have been really challenging to keep in perspective. My built has been sitting in a VDC lot since 31 May, waiting on a truck. When I hear and see same type builds being bought off Dealer lots it really brings home just how FCA has really screwed this whole thing up. Comments such as "built priority or shipping priority" on sold orders is just a big smoke screen to pacify the restless. Here is a picture of my build sitting in the VDC lot taken by a fellow member. Kind of looks really sad with no other Jeeps around it. I will probably have to enroll it in rehab in order to get it to socialize with fellow jeeps again. .

If memory serves me well getting LSD also upgrades the rear axle to Dana 44 which makes it more appealing than just the limited slip function.

I own a printing business and when I still had my 2 door 2012 JK I would deliver 25,000 envelopes with it. All kinds of room when the seat was folded up.
I have always taken the back seat out. Enty of room that way. When I am asked why I didn't get a four door I tell people I don't want a Jeep station wagon.

Small town for me as well and the little bit of FM testing I did with the factory antena was far from good. XM goes in and out as well because of the trees along most of the roads. I think I will order the stubby antenna as well because any more signal loss would probably not be very noticable.
