Unless something has changed with their standard valving from when I bought mine......Yes, you would need to request the softer valving at the time of ordering.
Thanks Joe!
Yes, those are the Quadratec Rubicon Extreme with the stock Rubicon size tire (285/ 70-17). As far as ride quality and wear & tear on the suspension....it was no change.
There were several reasons honestly, but getting my wife and her bad back into something she could comfortably drive were the focus. My next one will be configured exactly like I want rather than taking whatever is available.
IMHO, functionally leaving it would have been fine for on road use and mild off roading. I have since traded mine off and will be ordering a replacement in the upcoming months. It will stay stock for a bit, but in the end I will go again with 35's and the 1.5" lift. I felt it was just right.
No difference whatsoever when running the stock shocks. Running the Falcons that were recommended with the kit, I hated the ride. It was way too stiff for my liking, so I shipped them back for re-valving.
As far as the stiff ride goes, I know your pain! At the time I sent mine in, I believe it was only around 3 days. I just ran my stock shocks temporarily while I was waiting.
Thanks!

Michael, they're exactly as promised after re-valving and after close to 12k miles, the best word to describe them is "plush". They are noticeably softer than the stock shock but paired with the E rated Coopers, the ride is excellent. I've had more than one passenger comment on how well the...
First of all, thank for the props Don and I'm happy to share my thoughts.
On the STT's, for me there were a couple other tires in the mix, but the white letters were the tie breaking factor for me. So far, I am VERY happy with the overall performance on and off road. After playing with tire...
Well, I actually purchased mine off of Amazon but.....they're showing unavailable now. I did a quick search on Google and found them on eBay.
These are similar but not quite the same dimensions (just a touch shorter).
If comparing apples to apples the Hellcat crate cost is in the middle of the two GM offerings. Not that it's anywhere close to being cheap but remember the $56k is "turn key". All that's required is a person hand over their vehicle. That said, finding a much less expensive low mile Hellcat...
