Has anybody ordered a Sting Gray 2 door? I’m beginning to think that may be my holdup. There are 9 JLR’s in transit near my area with many having more options than mine and some with the exact build but different colors.

Email Nicole tells me they’re building them on a first come serve basis. As we all know from personal posts and cryptostickers this is very far from the truth.

I feel for the people who have ordered last year and they’re still waiting in D or D1. I ordered the end of March, but it’s so bewildering the unexplainable random build and associated process in this half ass rollout. I’m beginning to wonder if I’ll see mine at all this summer.
I did not order one, but we had posts of folks who did and have been delivered. Color hasn't seemed to be the hold up. It seems to be 1) FCA took a poop on 2dr customers and put them to the back of the line 2) They started making 2drs on a very limited basis once they started production 3) The headliners caused delays for hardtops and 4) Premium soft tops were not even begun until mid-May. And no matter what you read about the earlier you ordered, you're first in line - well that's just propaganda. I don't think FCA can even explain the order they're building them in, except to acknowledge that JLUs are the priority.

A co-worker's mother-in-law ordered a Red Sport S w/PST (no idea on other options) in December. Still no build date. Also shipping to a CT dealership.

if it is the best off road vehicle as it should be? then it is worth the wait.
jlopes68 - if you think that the customer service level exhibited by Jeep to this point, I would hate to be a customer of yours.

The root of the problem is communication, more specifically, the complete lack thereof.

Where is Jeep’s ‘leadership’ during this debacle...? In their bunker, blinders on, toasting each other over sales figures...?

what's particularly amateurish about it is they are burning their best customers, the most interested early adopters. cash = cash to them, i guess. boggles the mind. some casual could quite likely place an order today & receive the vehicle before a dedicated jeeper who ordered 6 months ago.

filthy casuals ruining Jeeps, man

they're too busy making loaded 4 door Sahara's and then barely providing any customer support once they break

Jeeps are so desirable the company wouldn't go under even if it was ran by idiots dumber than currently

waiting on my JLR order updates
Nope- 12/7/17...still D1.
My original order was on D1 one this morning when and a little over an hr ago I get the cryptosticker that its built, checked the site and I'm on KZ. Im sure if you are not built yet it will be by the weekend. Seems they are not updating the status accurately any longer. Im actually having mixed feelings not having waited for my order and got something else. I just dont have a pst. lol

They may have used up all the gray tint on the Grnits Crystal orders.....

Flurry of posts. Sorry for clogging up the feed. But, my dealer texted me that my jeep is on a railcar. So, again, I'm closer to taking delivery. Trying to get excited again. I will probably be excited when I go to the dealership to pick it up. It's just hard to get worked up when it has been going on so looonnnggggggg...
The unpleasantness of waiting will vanish instantly the minute you see your new Jeep!

154 days tomorrow. 2 door, 3.6. HT, non painted, auto Rubi. Sits in VDC 90 miles away. I’m sure that there is some dick head in management bragging about how much money he saved FCA in shipping. Old Saying “first in last out” never was truer.

Has anyone tried this yet to turn off the seatbelt chime on their JL?
I haven't picked mine up yet. Hopefully tomorrow morning but I also was just told, I have to work (forced ot) tomorrow. I will try and sneak out for an hour or so to get it, all depends on what is going on that I have to come in
