At least you didn’t pay the deposit with cash. The CC company will get it taken care of. Just make sure you call them and make sure to stop payment.

Sorry I haven’t been keeping up recently and it would take me forever to catch up again, but am I the only one still in D? I ordered 3/12. Dealer is useless, their regional rep says no 2-doors have been built. I referenced the forum to prove them incorrect. They also said the 4 cylinders were being build first which I believe was a myth disproven here a while ago. Jeep contacts are also useless, they tried to saying my order is delayed because of a P soft top, which it should not have, dealer confirmed it was ordered correctly with a black hard top. I’d just like to get some info on the status, possible build date estimate, and what the hold-up is if its anything but the backlog of orders. Anyone have advice? Thanks

When they cancel an order that they have put into the system, they are supposed to generate a cancelation on the Jeep Order System. That, form, you need to sign - - - get a copy of that.

I have always found that arguing, making threats, explaining, and displaying Attitude is the wrong way to go. This kind of dealership really knows how to deal with that and take advantage of it. Simple, polite, and steady wins this race. "Please cancel the order, now." and "Thank you" (when they do).

What phone number do you use when you check on your Jeep order? Is it the 877 # on the Jeep site or is there another one (866?) that people are using? I can't seem to find the posts with the phone number. Thank you very much!

I had good luck with 866.362.2146. But twice I was told my Jeep was built, twice they were wrong. 95 % of the time very pleasant. 5% they were probably not enjoying their job, Best of luck to you!

Was ready to pull the trigger on a Granite Sport hard top that was “on the lot” at a dealership in my area. Unfortunately I was about 12 hours late. Some lucky SOB got one without this torture. The waiting game continues......,

I just called and cancelled order and contacted CC company. When I call they wouldn't even try to take off the key replacement or theft guard. So I told them to cancel. I'm going to go in person today to see if I can make sure they reverse cc transaction and write cancel on it. Probably going to give me a hard time since it says non refundable but hopefully cc company will step up if that happens. Thanks for everyone's help. Working with another dealer to get better pricing

So I called 866# to check on the status of my unicorn (JLR w/ PST) and got the same story, “you’re in D status, yada yada...delays ...blah blah blah.” So tell me Jeep, does D status mean ‘Dicked’ around, because that’s exactly what is going on here! Friday is June! There better be some amazing discounts coming my way!

Just left there a few ago. Manager said he had no problem cancelling the order but had to be done tomorrow when the sales manager and sales person that made the deal are in. He said once I talked to them and don't want it anymore I can cancel with no problems because he can easily sell that car if they wanted to keep it. So I'm going back tomorrow to cancel. Meanwhile I came to the greenway dealership and I'm working with someone now. Now I have comparables to share
