Sorry I haven’t been keeping up recently and it would take me forever to catch up again, but am I the only one still in D? I ordered 3/12. Dealer is useless, their regional rep says no 2-doors have been built. I referenced the forum to prove them incorrect. They also said the 4 cylinders were being build first which I believe was a myth disproven here a while ago. Jeep contacts are also useless, they tried to saying my order is delayed because of a P soft top, which it should not have, dealer confirmed it was ordered correctly with a black hard top. I’d just like to get some info on the status, possible build date estimate, and what the hold-up is if its anything but the backlog of orders. Anyone have advice? Thanks

Got the below email just now. Does not seem possible since the 'un-named site' still has me in D1...

This is a courtesy email update regarding your Jeep Wrangler Sport order.

Our resources indicate your vehicle has been released by the plant and is currently in the shipping stages. Due to the high volume of all-new Wrangler models in the shipping stage, the suppliers that transport our vehicles are backlogged and working as quickly as they can to get these vehicles delivered to the dealership.

I will continue to track the status of your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL order & will provide any updates as they become available.

We appreciate your patience as we launch this exciting new product.

Sincerely,

Jeff

Great news for you! Jeff is Nicole’s sidekick so he may be right. Why would he say this otherwise?
My hope is that installations after build will speed up, just like deliveries are doing.

I tried and it just looks like some white chalk lines. I can't seem to get the dent/scratch to up on a picture. I'll try again later
well dammit jim! turn up the power! use a hammer and get those dents in a little deeper....... actually tis good news if a picture can't show it well, than you're fretting over something most won't see. most are gonna see your smoking hot orange and black jeep and be green with envy

I ordered 3/7, and in JB for 6 days now, headliner pending. In the scheme of things here, March order is not all that bad. Still some December, January and February pending.
What sites are you registered on? The nameless site is a decent info place. Cryptostickers as well. Definitely not 100%, but better than the call lines.

This sounds like a reply from late March. Did the Dealer and Rep REALLY state that ?
Are you sure you are at a Jeep dealer ? Was this info given to you by------
"One Hung Low" and Two Can Chew" ? (jokes not ethnic)

Well this renders FCA's whole pre-canned statement irrelevant "PST's just began production on 5/16, they will be produced in the order they were received, December orders first, then January, and so on." I ordered 100+ days ago and have been in part collecting purgatory since, Meanwhile Larry orders 6 weeks later is already built.

haha im envious.
I have two identical orders. Both with "Build Priority: 99".

But the order that seems to be moving has a "Scheduling Priority: 1-Sold Order". This one has an order date of 3/31/2018.

My other order which is not moving and still in D has an order date of 1/17/2018 and has a "Scheduling Priority: 2-Fastest Moving Vehicle Order".

My guess is that they are doing "Scheduling Priority: 1-Sold Order" units 1st.

The above information is on the Priced Order Confirmations (POC)s.

Good question for all..... Especially those who have gone to E/F/JB and on to I or KZ.

Since Toledo appears to be catching up some, what was your experience for estimated ship date (which we know is build start date) that was originally forecast when you hit D1, compared to when it actually happened?

I'm trying to get a feel whether they are pulling ahead or delaying... in my case, i went D1 on 5/15 with an ESD of 6/5 on the VOC. Jeep chat won't confirm it, but the 866 number has. Is toledo beating those dates and pulling forward, or missing em and delaying?

I called another dealer and they told me they can give me better deal with discount off the MSRP. I just called the dealer I worked with to let them know another dealer is giving me a better offer but manager wasn't in. Waiting on call back. If they give me a discount price and remove those bs add ons probably stick with it

I just ordered my 2018 2 door Rubicon today. Granite crystal gray, premium soft top, manual transmission, leather seats, infotainment system, safety group, led lighting, tow group. After taxes and fees 50k. Did I get ripped off? Still excited to get it even though it looks like it will be a while

That dealer is really trying to screw you! First off, call your credit card company and stop the charge, there is a national 3 day right of recision law. I had a dealer try that TheftGard B.S. on me in 2014, he said it was mandatory on all their vehicles. I told him that I didn't order it so I wouldn't pay for it & ripped up the contract and walked away. There are a host of other bogus charges on your sheet that I won't go into but I would definitely not buy anything from this dealer!!!

When I went D1 on 5/6, they told me a build date of Week of the 28th. Sounds like that was true in my case.
