I am now in the depressed stage. Long weekend, weather is good, everyone is enjoying their Jeeps and I am still waiting

Yes it is on the floor and covered with a sturdy "grate" and it sounds awesome! The sub woofer bass is not affected to any noticeable degree when it is covered up as most of it's bass sound is conductive. You can put your ear near it and you actually hear less bass coming from the speaker than you do from the body of the Jeep itself. I also covered it up with pillows and noticed no change. I am very impressed and happy with this sound system.

I have the sub in the floor of my 2015 JKUR and I agree too-never noticed any "muffling" of the bass. It was designed this way...as Fred mentioned: conductive. Also, it is extremely hearty and definitely waterproof. I spilled an entire bottle of Coke shortly after I first got it. Removed the sub, brought it in the house and soaked it and sprayed it out a few times. Figured it was probably ruined anyway so I might as well try. It still works perfectly three years later.

Pretty sure Rich didn't have malicious intent, but I agree that folks shouldn't try contacting her directly. I've been pretty irritated in not getting info from her as expected, but keep in mind she is probably constantly hammered by angry Jeepers about things out of her control.

You're not alone Billy! My wife was actually searching the internet this morning trying to find a place to rent one for the weekend.

I am lucky enough to still have my 15 Sahara JKU but I want my JL. My youngest is back from college and haven't seen much of her or the Jeep. Lol

Finally ! After ordering 1-11-18 and in KZ for 29 days I picked her up this morning.
First JL in Ohio. This has the best ride and is so smooth. Steering is GREAT.
I want so much for all of you to get your Wrangler very soon. And to thank all
of you for your support during this launch. You helped me greatly. I am now here for you.

Yeah 2 people can do it. Wear gloves and have a spot that fits it so you are screwing around d with it. Be careful of rear glass opening

I have a hoist that I made in the garage ceiling but I have also had a buddy help by just grabbing a side, that would have been helpful for the manual removal.
