Don't know whether Toledo has sped things up, FCA is just making things up, or I somehow got incredibly lucky, but I ordered last Wedenesday (4/25), and am listed in D1 as of yesterday (4/3) according to an updated POC from my dealer. I know there still can be a long wait from here, but that's insanely quick to get there, right?

PSA for those who didn't order all weather mats with your two door build. They're now available from eBay and cheaper than factory order. Make sure you're buying the front AND rear. Unlike JK, the 2 door JLs now have rear mats too. More info in this thread

half doors! 2018 is the first year a Wrangler (or CJ) has been offered without half doors. hopefully that's addressed with the 2019 model year, or through the aftermarket. I damned near ordered a JK with factory half doors, and would likely have done so with a JL.

I'm planning on going tube half doors myself. even more open air feeling, and a great customization piece to stand out.

Even if you're the more "granola" type Wrangler owner, every owner should take their doors off one day for a good drive, just to experience the sensation. And if you've offroaded with them off, you know as much as I do how much of a riot that is.

That's been my biggest issue with this whole process. No one knew what stage my Jeep was at. I was getting different answers from everyone. Dillionaire was by far the closest to knowing what was actually going on. He should have run the hotline.

The lack of accurate info and having to go to so many different places just to get a best guess is RIDICULOUS!!! The canned responses I have read on this forum that everyone is getting is why I have never contacted my dealer or FCA. I'll just get a bulk pacify the public generic response. It really has taken away from what should be an exciting experience. I never ordered a vehicle before, just chose from the lots of dealerships around me. This whole ordeal really stains the whole thing...

I had the same if not worse experience when ordering from a different company (Mazda) several people I know had issues with ordering from another (GM). Best experience I know of was a friend who ordered a Porsche. Not to excuse FCA but certainly seems like a common thing in the auto industry.
