My Jeep should be in any minute now. My inspection sticker expired and I was going to hold off cause I dont drive it (and I am cheap) but decided to go get one. This would be my luck. Lol

I can tell you how good the info from the new call center is. I called it yesterday to check as last my dealer told me I was in D still (ordered 2/12). He said I have some great news for you, your vehicle shipped today. I was skeptical so I challenged him to double check to confirm, “oh I’m sorry, your still in D status” is what he came back with. So there ya go.The Jeep order status phone line just told me I am in KZ status, but she seemed unsure of her answer somehow, so Im taking it with a grain of salt. Yesterday I was in D1, so Im not sure if KZ already is realistic. If i go by past experience when I call tomorrow Im going to be back in D again
Right on the money. Except I'm not yet in the home stretch. Making matters worse is that I'm spending the weekend in Estes Park and Rocky mountain national park. Jeeps everywhere. I'm in Mecca with no jeepIs it just me but now that it looks like most of us are in the home stretch does the wait seem almost unbearable? When my Jeep was a nebulous thing the wait was fine but now it's much more tangible and I want it! Now!
Damn I need to find more hobbies to occupy me.
It was Dillionaire that got me more anxious. His massages made it sound like my Jeep was almost done while the new contact line is giving me no clear answer and my dealer won't even talk to me now (I've only emailed them 3 times in as many months).Getting an ETA from Dillionaire and the new Jeep support actually helped calm me down. I know that anything can happen but just having that info is good for me

If the contact line said the same thing as Dillionaire that would be awesome.
Craigslist shut down their personals section.. gotta get it elsewhere now...Jman discussion of your massages from drillionaire might be more appropriate on a different forum....like Craigslist
My last factory order was with GM three years ago. GM's equivalent of a POC actually lists the rail car number when it is shipped. With that, you can call an automated 800 number to get location data anywhere in North America. Bottom line, I found the rail car in Winnipeg 1/4 mile from my home parked on a sidetrack immediately adjacent to a city street. I didn't even have to trespass to see five wrapped Corvettes in that car. It was around a week before that rail car made it to the lot for unloading and delivery to my dealer. Possibly the longest week in my life and this is starting to feel like that.Is it just me but now that it looks like most of us are in the home stretch does the wait seem almost unbearable? Wow... that is sad and funny at the same time...My last factory order was with GM three years ago. GM's equivalent of a POC actually lists the rail car number when it is shipped. I think we're at a turning point and the overall atmosphere here should only improve. If all goes well, this thread could be a ghost town in a couple of months and that's not a bad thing.Wow... that is sad and funny at the same time...
A lot of forum members are getting snappy; that’s ok. I can’t even talk to my husband about it, he does not understand what I’m going through. Hope my marriage survives! Lol
My great hope is that next week we will see 2 doors arriving at destinations.
Anyone has spies to confirm the JK assembly line has started on 2 doors? That’s what I want to know.
As I understand it, the JL's are built in a different plant altogether & that the old JK line is to be retooled to produce the new Jeep pick-up (Scrambler).Wow... that is sad and funny at the same time...
