Hey I hope the information is accurate. I'd love to see people start to get their Jeeps .

I know I shouldn’t have believed them. Jeep chat got my hopes up telling me KZ status for my 2dr Rubicon. My dealer said it still sits at D.

Maybe they typed in your VIN incorrectly or something.

Maybe your dealer didn't even bother checking. from what I understand only a sales manager can get into the system. so I wouldn't put it past a salesman to put you on hold for a sec and just say your status is unchanged.

I believe he checked with his manager. He’s told me before that’s the process. He was truly hoping Jeep Chat was right. He was pretty bumbed to bring me bad news a couple hours later.

I’ve Jumped from D to D1 and back to D. At one point my dealer had mine on a list to arrive end of March. I’m done with Jeep chat. I’ll just keep checking with my dealer and watch here for that first 2 door JL unicorn to appear.

Not a big deal but at the dealership where I ordered, I know there is at least one salesman who has the ability to provide a POC and another person who does all the ordering who can also do it. My salesman doesn't have the ability or maybe he just doesn't know how.

I am curious about it. Maybe @JLWF Dealer Guy knows what the process is? Who at the dealership usually has access to the system to check on build status and/or provide a POC?

Ok, had my weekly chat with jeep today, same story 2dr starts mid April. was told premium soft tops are delayed. I don't know why that would hold up all 2dr production. I told the rep there are a lot of angry frustrated customers , who are upset about the delays, and their vehicles not being delivered in the time promised . She said FCA is aware of their customers frustrations , but the delays are because of outside parts suppliers, and the can't do anything about it.

Also does anyone know what priority build 99 mean? I just noticed it on my build sheet today

And she rolled her eyes and thought, “Bitch, please. I’m over here earning minimum wage. You think I care?” :cwl:

I believe that a build priority of '01' is assigned to orders that are considered sold, while '99' is for orders that are not considered sold. Sold orders are (allegedly) processed before orders that are not sold.

If you put down a deposit I wouldn't fret. The initial build sheet I received from my dealer said '99' but when I checked at a later date, it was showing as '01' in their system.

Pretty much anyone can provide one if they know where to look.

I've taken a few polls, responded to a few threads and watched the site proliferate to the point of not being sure where to make this confession: I have cancelled my 70 day old all silver 2DR Rubicon order and have replaced it with an all white 4dr Rubicon order. I also want to take this opportunity to thank the hosts and members of this forum for helping me get thru the last two winters.

Why the change?
