Just an update....I received my VIN today. So I would concur with the Sweetwater...it's the dealer deciding to do that. You probably don't want to lose your deposit, but just another reason I am happy I decided to go through Travis at Tri-City!

Pretty close. Didn't want to get the steel bumper group because I plan to go aftermarket on that. And preferred black top over colored. But pretty much loaded out, including LED's. I figured...screw it...been wanting a Rubi for a long time, time to go all out.

I'm assuming the deposit comment is directed toward Gabeguy (Tom)? I don't plan on doing anything with my order. lol. I was stating that he might not want to lose his deposit, but like you said...find a dealer that is willing to get his jeep built!

Funny...I have a 15 year old daughter...soon to be 16, and I'm sure she is going to be dreaming as well. Ain't gonna happen! LOL

I've actually got those in my cart but haven't pulled the trigger yet due to mixed reviews. I'd love to know your opinion once you've used them a few times.

we have something similar on the JK and i am not fond of them. they sat in my cart for awhile because of the added cross brace, then i found the ones i installed on the JL. my issues are that the hinge ones loosen up and move a lot, people bump them all the time and they are a pain to adjust back when you are alone. my hopes with the ones i chose, is that they are higher, should avoid the bumping issue, they have a breakaway if bumped too, they have indents with a springed bolt, so they dont come out of adjustment while driving. my $0.02

When someone gets a few seconds (and has their doors off), could you please measure the INNER dimensions of the hinge? Another set of mirrors I'm looking at will fit in a 0.4"-0.5" hinge opening. Thanks!!!

My whole family has been buying from Greenway in Orlando for years. Great place to plop down money! But yes, they do offer great prices. Shaun Allen is the head sales manager there; super nice guy.
Service Department is good too.

Thanks so much for the info. I'll definitely check them out. I certainly don't mind driving to Orlando, especially since it seems dealers in South Fla don't want to sell under invoice.

Thanks! Was looking at this one. So from the Amazon link it says you need to drill 4 holes, manufacturer site says no drilling holes?

I can totally relate. I have a Daughter that literally just turned 15, and she's already saying how she can't wait to drive my Jeep down to the Beach. First off, She just started studying for her learners permit. Secondly, I haven't even placed my Jeep order yet. Although, I suppose I can't blame her. When I was her age, I couldn't wait to drive and was at the DMV on my Birthday getting my license. Oddly enough, my Son had no real interest in driving and didn't even get his license until a few months from his 21st birthday.

Steel bumper, correct? No drilling! That’s why I chose it. Installs in 2 minutes via factory skid plate bolt.

If you got the plastic bumper, I know it’s a different part number, and not sure about drilling.
