Guys, I appreciate your concern, but as I posted yesterday, all is good. Talked to the Jeep rep, he explained the restriction on the LED's, got a new POC with VIN & no restrictions!!!Pretty close. Didn't want to get the steel bumper group because I plan to go aftermarket on that. And preferred black top over colored. But pretty much loaded out, including LED's. I figured...screw it...been wanting a Rubi for a long time, time to go all out.
I'm assuming the deposit comment is directed toward Gabeguy (Tom)? I don't plan on doing anything with my order. lol. I was stating that he might not want to lose his deposit, but like you said...find a dealer that is willing to get his jeep built!
At first it sounded like the Jeep rep fixed this issue for you. But you’re saying it resolved itself and they were already removed when the order was pulled up? My POC sheet has restricted options too.
Snap, I missed this post. So Mr. Regional Jeep Rep did you a solid and got you a new POC. Guess you’re getting fast tracked.. he didn’t happen to give you his card did he?
Relics from JK where they were used to secure a rolled-up back window. I suppose one could still roll the JL window, but I wouldn’t... seems like that’d damage the rigid sides that lock into the channels.What are these straps used for? Came with my 2 door rubi with pst.
Here's what I was told...They allocate "X" amount of Wranglers to each region of the country monthly & when those are sold, they won't allow any more orders till the next allocation period. Same goes for the options. The rep didn't do anything special for me, he just asked my dealer to pull up my order & the restrictions were removed & I had a VIN. As has been stated on this forum before, this is the only Jeep factory build 2 & 4 doors for the world. They also told me that they also allocate the 2 & $ doors by region & that the midwest gets more 4 doors for all our soccer moms. LOL
The updated POC sheet should have the restrictions removed, did they just give you the VIN # or let you see the actual updated sheet? Bet it's clear like mine now.

Hmmm, not sure. Although, I thought I read on here that those straps are used to keep the rear seat from falling back down, when you have it tumbled forward.What are these straps used for? Came with my 2 door rubi with pst.
