2 Door half doors

I had Bestop doors on my ‘16 JK and after that 1st summer decided to build half doors since they were not an option for that year, cost a bit since I added power locks and mirrors but I loved them. My ‘23 did not offer it because of the color option (Reign) and I had to source a set which are in paint. Once I get them back and put back together I’ll post pics. Half doors are top notch, if it looks like bad weather I’ll throw them on and the uppers in the Jeep, otherwise I run no doors most of the summer.

Can some of you with 1/2 doors share some shots of your 2 door rides....ideally topless? My first 2 Jeeps were only offered in 2 door and most came only with half doors. I rolled year round in FL with bikini top and the 1/2 door tops only got deployed on a heavy downpour or extremely cold temps. Hope to get a set for my current JLR. In the meantime, I can admire others.....Thanks!

Only have a few with no soft top folded or in safari mode. Should have plenty more come spring!

I'm in the Midwest (KC Metro) and I'm half doors and soft top full time now. My body colored hard top and full doors have been in storage since early summer. If this winter is typical, we'll have one more really cold snap in February before things start to warm up again but this setup has been more than livable so far.

I wouldn’t have bought jeep without half doors, if they didn’t offer them on the new JLs I would have had to buy a used TJ.

$300 for compete trash respray- $4000 overcharge.

Realistically it’s $400-800 to have each door painted. Depending on the amount of work you do yourself. Paint work isn’t cheap and it takes a lot of prep to do it right.

I want to say it was ~$700 for them to pull the doors apart, paint match, and put them back together. Wouldn’t have saved me much to disassemble myself. Maybe $25 per door? I don’t remember exactly, but it wasn’t much because it’s very quick and easy.

Call around to local shops or ask a local Jeep group where they have had parts color matched and that will give you a good place to start.

Same. I held off buying a JL until there was an ability to get factory half doors.
