I had the same issue when I bought my ‘23 JL. I unpaired the phone and then paired it again and it fixed the issue.

All I’ve ever owned is a 2 door and when we (gf & kid) go on any longer weekend trips I use a hitch cargo carrier for extra gear etc. it also has a cover that zips up so everything is safe from weather etc. It works well for us.
