Modern vehicle with proper maintenance should have no problem get to 150K or 200K.
With more care, it can go up to 300K - 500K.
Why this standards are lower for Jeep.

I can only speak for myself, but the 100k mark is like a major birthday milestone. I don’t think 100k is an amazing accomplishment, but a fun number to see on the odometer. I am personally hoping to keep my Jeep operational until I give it to one of my kids or I die.

25k a year isn't that extreme. I'm putting about 20k a year on mine and I work from home. Lots and lots of trips to do rock crawling / camping.

The (unrealistic) goal is to do more hours on trail than on road. Tomorrow, for example, will be about 4 hours of total driving to / from the trail with about 6 or 7 hours on the trail.

Red Cone (5/6) to Radical Hill (5/7) to Middle Fork Swan River (5/7) to SOB Hill (5/7) to Georgia Pass (3/3). Should be fun!

A few trips to the West Coast. Lots of trips to Moab / Utah. Lots of trips to various remote areas of Colorado. Big loops through the West. Michigan (where it was built) back through the southern part of the country. Yeah, that Jeep has seen a lot of places / miles. The goal, of course, is to spend more hours off road than on.

Fortunately every weekend is a long weekend (half-day Fridays, but they don't really care if you take it all off) and nearly two months of vacation a year means that we can play off road a lot. Having a wife that loves it too is a big bonus.

I'm quite impressed how you got this photographed. Maybe you were on DefCon 1 at 99,998 and drove around the block for two miles. I was oblivious at 80,000. I guess that unique number caught my eyeballs and I stopped and took a picture but I'm sure I just barely missed going to 80,001 since I was moving.
