Looking to install fusion elite, 60/60 on my 2022 two door JL Rubicon with the 3.6 L E torque.
worried about clearance of the driveshaft/Pinion between the fuel tank and 48 V battery box. Has anyone on here installed 1 tons on their two door JLE torque?

Plenty of space in there. No worries.

Are you using the factory suspension and arms?
Metalcloak 3.5” game changer.
The problem is the 48 V battery compartment. I did talk to a guy who has it installed on his JLU with e torque but not 100% sure that the battery box is in the same exact location. An inch would make a night and day difference. I need someone who has actually installed it on a two door with etorque.

There will be plenty of room in there, especially if you have adjustable arms to make the fine adjustments. You can stretch the rear about 1/4-3/8" without really affecting the trackbar bushings. You can go out 1/2" or maybe even a hair more if you have misalignment ends on the trackbar. I pushed mine out almost 3/4", but I cut the brackets off the frame and moved them at that point. You'll be good to go with the space available.

I appreciate it. Here is a picture of how close it is. At full flex the factory driveshaft flange barely rubs. Not enough to even worry about.

What size tires are you planning to run, 40's I assume. I wanted to go 42's on my JLR and all the build shops convinced me I need a JLUR for that. I'm still thinking of tons/40's on a JLR, but even then, I'll need to buy a new rig as I can't live without the front camera.

I'd love to do a stretch but that's $35K, and for that money, I can live with a JLUR.

I’m running 38’s now on my 2door rubicon. Definitely going to 40’s with 5:38 gears.

Why can’t you add the front camera?

But you can add the big screen.
Apparently it's not that easy. There are no documented cases of going from small screen to big screen and factory front camera. It's cheaper to sell your rig and order a new one the right way.
