Free— this time, I wonder why your Max Care didn’t cover it, did you get the top level ? I don’t recall the options.
I only used a brushed wash once. But the hand wash I use runs it through the touch less tunnel after (for the wax) and the blow dryer is very powerful. Perhaps the culprit, I can and will now forgo the tunnel if they can’t turn it off, as they also hand dry.

The car wash wasn't the cause in any way. Sorry if what I said implied that. It merely showed how they fucked up when they put it back together. Severely fucked up such that water gushed in and it had difficulty opening and closing.

Pretty sure it was the top level Max Care (that's max, right?), but not positive.

I meant the jet force dryer might have broken mine as I know of no other possibilities. …
I thought “Max Care” was the top tier too, the ins is puzzling.

You can fully remove the roof, it is just not as easy as a hardtop or soft top.

If you watch his video, He clearly states its not recommended to remove. He says it was very difficult to install and get to work right. So for the average guy! Well, at your own risk. There are alot of moving parts.

We had some really nice weather here in Minnesota today - almost 60 degrees (above zero) and sunshine. I used the SOT a number of times and really enjoyed the fresh air. Felt great - even driving 70 mph down the Interstate.

I've also been through the carwash a few times (Crew Carwash). The pressure from the water seems minimal, but the air dryer is where I can feel the top being blown down. No leaks though and the top looks great after the wash.

Car wash twice no issue. Cruise around rocky national park with the top back, best investment ever.

I added the hotheads liner and that did lower some of the noise but I still think it’s louder than the hard top. Not enough to make a big deal.

Will be adding the hotheads shade shortly for when it gets really hot.

After having all the tops, this one works great for me and being lazy just pushing a button.
