Sun visor fix in place………

My visor broke finally, awhile back, like so many others have. There’s a few DIY fixes on here for it, but I didn’t want to disassemble it, so here’s what I did……

Lay a sheet or something over your seat, clamp the wire harness to keep it still, cut the plastic back to expose the metal sleeve. Then carefully use the dremel and make a notch on opposite sides of the metal sleeve, careful not to cut the wire.

Then get the appropriate size E clip, sorry I don’t recall size, I just have a lot of that kind of shit laying around, but you can get an assortment for 5.00…….

Then make sure you didn’t hit the wire,

Did a test fit with my CMM Offroad mirrors for when we’re running nekkid………

This part stays on, it’s a nice and clean fit, and doesn’t obstruct use of the handle.

They are high and tight for the tight trails and we have a lot of them around here…….

They are very high quality and excellent fit & finish, however they are a bit pricey and if I’m being honest, I probably wouldn’t have got them if I didn’t get them for Xmas………

You must of been on your hiatus when I explained the lights, lol. It’s all about the brackets, she liked the look of the brackets, thought they tied in well with the rocker guards. So I played the “ we can’t just use the brackets without lights” card……. Lol.

If you really want to get us all jealous you could add the GoPro mount they make for the mirrors and start posting vids with those offroad pics ??

Can I get a measurement when you get time, no hurry.

i need the distance between your tie rod and the front axle. My Synergy tie rod sits a lot closer to the diff than the stock one did.

When I turn full lock drivers and stuffing the wheel my track bar is hitting the resi on top of the SS. It doesn’t hit any other time, that’s why I haven’t bothered pursuing it.

Here’s how close it is turned full driver at ride height……..

I don’t know if I’m gonna do anything about it , but when time comes, I’ll likely go with the RPM.

Hey Roky, guessing if you tilt the SS any further forward then the other end hits the tie rod on full lock passenger?

You got it, buddy! I'm heading to work tomorrow for a couple hours. While there, I wanted to see if there was any dimensional difference between the stock and the Steersmarts tie rods that are both in a shipping container there. I'm curious after talking with another member with a stock tie rod and stabilizer issue, that I suspect is due to the same sorta thing that you're experiencing. I'll get that measurement at ride height and full drivers lock, and take some refence pics for you. You want me to post them here or privately?
