So I’ve tried searching and having a hard time finding exactly what I’m looking for. Anyone running +12 9 inch wide wheels with 12.5 wide tires? I have a 19 rubicon that will be getting RC spacer lift next week. I ordered the +12 offset and 37 12.5 17 mastercraft mxt tires. I want them tucked in a bit but don’t want to be into the suspension when flexed. From all my calculations I should be fine but would like reassurance from someone running a similar setup. I will have 13mm more inner wheel clearance than stock wheels and some have run stock wheels without issue.

Several factors at play here...Do you plan on wheelin it and flexing alot? I have +10 offset(5.2 backspacing) 17 × 8.5 wheels which adds 19mm(.75") of inner clearance vs. stock with 35" tires and it clears everything at full flex with 2 bumpstops. I imagine you're 13mm of inner clearance may rub inner fenders a bit when flexing up on 37's depending on bumpstop setup. I feel backspacing around 4.5 is ideal for 37s on a rubicon which gives you about 1.5" of inner clearance vs stock. If I could upgrade wheels, I would go a little wider bc I've gotten into wheelin. Best of luck..

I guess worse case I’ll add the inner fender liners. I’ll reply to this post when I get them on and see how they do. I do wheel, but not a ton at this point but will be going a couple times a month. Heading to Moab in October, but if I do rub it will be at slow speeds so should be okay for now and will assess afterwards.

Did you get these mounted with 37s? Clearance issues when flexing?

They just rub a little bit on the rear fender liners. Not enough to matter to me. No front issues. Have taken it to Moab and off road a few times locally as well. I do have the rear bump stop in the 3 inch (vertical) position. At full lock and full flex I could possibly get it to rub, but in normal off roading it hasn’t rubbed real bad.

I did order the mopar lift as I just had the spacer lift on until I could figure out a decent full lift to put on. It arrives today but I won’t have time to get it put on until after thanksgiving unless I can find a full day to set aside for it. I already have front adjustable track bar and will be putting on rear track bar bracket so shouldn’t have issues with the mopar lift.
Here’s a couple more pics showing how far they stick out and the only other flex pics I have on my phone.

Where exactly is the rubbing in the rear . I’m interested in this setup possibly. It would worry me if the rubbing is on back side of the tire vs the treads .

Here’s a couple pics. It’s kind of a pic your poison deal. With the rubicon if you go 9 wide -12 wheels you’ll rub the fender flare with +12 you’ll rub the inners a little. Here’s a couple pics.

I went with this offset too. 17x9 +12 (around 5.45 bs). I was looking to keep the tires tucked in as much as possible yet not have any major rubbing. My decision was between the AEV 5.7 backspace wheels and the aftermarket 5.45 wheels. Ended up getting a set of Vision wheels at @Discount Tire

Thank you @Jerrybizzle - your posts and pictures tipped the scale for me to go with the +12 instead of -12. I would have hated that much poke :D

on 37s now - same wheel
minimal poke, no rubbing anywhere at full lock. Will update after off-roading the setup
