Some of you guys that really wheel should really give rock hard 4x4 sliders a look. They have zero flex. On the JL frame mounted is not the ticket unless like two inches away. Way too much flex on JL. I have the rock hard sliders and now have hit some very hard trails - way harder than when I...
Glad it worked out
I was never offered spacers so I had to get rid of them. I know they were in the works but wasnāt worth a few months wait at the time
I get what your saying about how all are different and flex
Itās just hard when itās brand new
I just felt ignored and stood up
Website was a bit misleading
Guess I was hoping for a better outcome with them
Anyways thanks dad
I really dont mind getting body damage but most cerntainly donāt want to pay 900$ for it when the design could have been a bit better. They made it seems like they were gonna help me out and maybe send me some sort of updated part or washers only to turn around and say they...
You know @lodoffroad made No attempt to help me out and then 4 months later they offer me 15% discount on a new pair of different ones. After $2500 lost on this ordeal ( new sliders (775and damage repair 1700) I come to find out they updated the destroyer sliders likely after these complaints...
I donāt like these rock slider
I do have a scrape on them
ALL hardware included
Ran them since December
I do not like the step and I donāt like the fitment with my belly skids
willing to trade plus cash (depending on condition) for 33āto 35ā tires load range Atleast D
Yes it appears the sig series are better overall from people on the forums and yes I installed with the front frame mounted bolts that go all the way through the frame. I did drill for passenger side. Drivers side JL has hole already.
Spacer plates I donāt think would work . It would have to be done when welded in lodās shop because it will throw off the rest of the mounting points on the body and possibly on the frame
Might be harder to install
And these attach to frame and body. I think they would have been ok with an inch of gap which is how they sit at rear but the front tapers in as you follow the slider to the front. I thought it was kind of weird after installing it bc it was very noticeable to me. But I didnāt think anything of...
Yeah thanks guys I donāt want to bash them I just want to be happy with their products. I was hoping they could come forward and help me out here. Iām already having to pay 1700 at the body shop and out 900 for their sliders and now have to buy another pair. I donāt get into rocks but Iām not...
I am really bummed as the lod destroyer sliders have cause quite a bit of damage to the underside of my vehicle. I donāt get in the rocks really and just do moderate trails but the way they manufactured the sliders was only about 3/16ā of a gap spacing between body and slider at the front...
