Yes it appears the sig series are better overall from people on the forums and yes I installed with the front frame mounted bolts that go all the way through the frame. I did drill for passenger side. Drivers side JL has hole already.

Spacer plates I don’t think would work . It would have to be done when welded in lod’s shop because it will throw off the rest of the mounting points on the body and possibly on the frame Might be harder to install
