It you do all that, you’re at or near the cost of a rubicon.
I’ve only spent about 2k on upgrades so far. Pretty far off the cost of a Rubi. Adding those I’d imagine would add another 2k. Still about 15k or more off a 2dr comparable Rubi.

I’ve seen those headlights before and they look nice! Most of these that I’ve seen all refer to the DRLs but I don’t have those on my Sport. I guess the halos wouldn’t even work right?
I’ve wired them to my marker lights. The halos only come on in the parking light and auto/ on setting.

I could tell you, but then....
I make it a habit of not telling people what to do with their coins. I "try" to live by the motto, "if you like it, I love it."
Well said... wish others felt the same way...

I’ve done something similar to mine. I put Renegade stickers on the hood so it won’t be confused with a Rubicon.

Did you also lift it? Sorry, didn't see that in the replies. It looks great!

Still have a 4 door Rubi suspension sitting in the garage. No clue when I’ll put that on but eventually I’ll get it installed. Expecting a 1 and half to 2 inch gain.

That’s the first transmodel, trim-fluid Jeep I’ve ever seen. Born a sport wrangler but identifies as a rubihara renegade.

There are some (this has already happened)
They have found that their front and rear axle are Rubicon even though they own Sport!

So I would have good luck for him.

Highly doubt it, the last post regarding this issue I was contributing to, people just mistakenly identified their D35s for D44s, they do look similar, but no, not a "Rubicon" axle. Let's just call them by their real name here.

Also Sport with manual transmission or LSD will have rear D44s, doesn't make it a "Rubicon axle" though.

Please show me a Sport with stock front D44 axle by "accident"

I am thinking of changing the color of LED light on my plate number just to make it a little different. Thinking of color blue. Did you try changing the color for yours?

I’m sorry... what? Are you talking American dollars here? In what universe is a Rubicon $19,000 more than a Sport? My Rubicon was under $40,000...

Honestly that’s a great deal man! Haven’t seen any rubis go for under 40. In my area they’re about 15 to 20 more then the sports. Just did a quick check and the online builder has bare bone rubis starting at 41k. Edit : Just took a peak at my closest dealers site. Their cheapest Rubi is starting at 53k. They’re most expensive is 62k. Not sure if it’s just my area or what but I hope that helps you see where I’m getting my numbers from.

Ok that makes sense. The real-world difference in price is usually quite large, as you’re noticing in your area. Rubicons, even the 2-doors, are usually very optioned-out when on dealer lots.

But comparing apples to apples, a base, 100% bare-bones Sport is $28,045 on Jeep’s website right now and a base Rubicon starts at $38,045, exactly $10k more. When I ordered mine at the dealer I checked three options: LEDs, steel bumper and body-colored fenders. After all was said and done it ended up under $40k.

I’m not sure what you would consider a comparable Sport, but I’d think you would want to add A/C and the anti-spin rear differential at a minimum. I suppose you could get a new base Sport for around $30k.

Definitely not knocking your route, and I’m sure you’re still quite far under what a Rubi would have cost, just probably not ~15k to ~19k under ;)

People complain about how Rubicons have gotten so expensive... north of $55k or $60k. But they don’t have to be, just don’t tick all the option boxes!
