You guys with the fairly new orders. If you wan’t to see a few cool video’s on You Tube, look up “Jeep Factory” and you can see the assembly line stuff. It’s pretty cool and gets you a little more pumped up for your new babies.

Yay guys, my turn. Of course I knew with my luck it was going to come in while I was away on vacation. I’m on my last day in Bermuda and getting ready to start heading back to N.Y. The funny thing is now I can’t wait to leave! I even joked with my wife that I’m takin a cab to the airport. ( we’re on a Cruise). I did a chat with Jeep this morning, what a great feeling getting via text....”great news your new Jeep has been delivered to your dealer”. Note to my customers: Sorry vacation’s getting extended one more day. Lol. With all that being said I feel bad for the people that are still waiting and i’m Pulling for you.

I just got my vin from the dealer yesterday, for the JLU I recently ordered. Does anyone have an idea as to when this website will recognize the vin. Right now I get a message saying "vin not found".

I believe mine was up the next day.

It's been a FABULOUS vacation in my new bikini baby......a few road trips, some longer, some shorter......lots of fun! And this happened today! Had her for just over a week. Yikes!

Haha I know I remember it was even a little bittersweet when I broke 3 digits on my last Jeep. I’m so happy you’re enjoying her though.

I know the feeling! Bought mine 17 August 2018 with 33 miles on it, most of which were from my test drive. On my last R&R in May it went over 12,500. Which is pretty funny when I think that I've put that many miles on it in 11 months...

and have been overseas on assignment since 27 October 2018.

It's like watching the kids grow up... all the sudden they're old!

I know, the wait stinks but there’s no more holidays to slow things up for a while so hopefully these full weeks will push out a lot of these orders.

I've been reading as many threads as I can on this forum, but cannot find one where you can get the current status on your order. I know the title of this thread has "order tracking" in it, but once you enter your VIN (or nickname later) I am missing how/where you can see the current status. Can anyone help?

Ok Durango,. As far as actually tracking the progress of your build there used to be a site that would follow your build and update you with codes that told you where you were in the build process. As far as I know they don’t do it anymore unless someone in this room knows more. However, you can go to Jeep.com, find ‘contact us” do a couple more steps and you’ll have a choice of emailing them, chatting with a live person or you can even call an 800 number. I checked once a week. I ordered on 6/8/19, called the first Wednesday, chatted every Wednesday after and was told this past Wednesday that it’s at my dealer ( I’m on vacation but picking up Monday)

sf5211 - thanks for the reply. I did the chat and after waiting ten minutes finally someone "answered" - but before I could finish typing my question, they signed off! Tried again, and this time got someone who all they could tell me was it had been shipped. Not when, not where across the country it might be now, not anything else. I asked her if she could see how many new FCA vehicles I've bought in the last two decades (cause I know they can, and I've bought some twenty-five or so) and then asked her if that perhaps would give her some leeway in telling me more. So much for pulling rank! They - or she anyway - will not tell me any more. So I guess it could show up tomorrow, or a month from now. It was ordered two months ago, so I think I'm being reasonable in expecting it soon? Heck, my last order was a Hellcat Widebody and it showed up quicker! Thanks again...

You’re welcome D, mine was one week in shipping but I know everyone’s different. Speaking of everyone being different don’t get discouraged because you get night and day differences in the Jeep customer service people. They’re all nice but my 1st chat I got something like “ All the materials for your build have been gathered together and your Jeep should go into the building process soon. Please note that the process takes 10-12 weeks”! Plus I asked for a code and didn’t get one. (Probably D-1). 2 weeks after that I asked again for a code and got KZ and shipping. If you’re in shipping you may even be able to get info from your dealer.

Dang that fast? Who did you order from?

It’s probably a bad example as it was a hot list build under a but back of my sport s.
But I ordered from Safford Jeep in warrenton VA. Great group of folks there.
