i am also in new jersey. ordered 5/21. KZ on 6/19. dealer said should be arriving Wednesday or Thursday. who told you its still waiting to ship? jeep chat or dealer?

Ordered 6/6. KZ on 6/14. Sat in Toledo for a bit. Strange thing today Jeep Chat told me it was "in transit" to the dealer but was also just KZ status. Strange. Salesman (nice guy,, I have many purchases from him, but he probably hs an IQ of like 76) told me it was waiting for a train to ship. This was on 6/21. So i dont know who to believe.

My Jeep was an integral part in proposing to my wife.




Proposed to her the same place I met her. And yes, I put the ring on the wrong hand. But, in my defense, I had just taken a shot of Jack Daniels in order to help my nerves calm just a bit.

I got the text tonight that my Jeep has made it to the dealership.....have to wait till wednesday to take ownership because my salesman is off tomorrow

Right again! Patience is just NOT my virtue! Fingers crossed that mine arrives this week and I have it for my vacation that begins Sunday!!! As I was typing I got a text from the dealer. It just arrived on the rail to the yard about 2 hours away. He said it's usually 2-3 days for delivery to them! Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's awesome news! You may even get a surprise and get it earlier and most of all have your new baby for your vacation week. I'm going on vacation next week too. I told one of the other guys with my luck board the cruise Sunday get the "it's here" text on Monday. Haha, actually i'm a little behind (ordered 6/8) but did get my build sheet from cyrptostickers today so it's moving along. But seriously, good luck with yours and please post a pic or two.

Oh Jdog that totally stinks. You've got luck like me. If I need new tires the guy will tell me "I've got 3 in stock".

Oh, there's so much improvement that could be done...

- Offering a package that allows you to drive the Jeep out of the plant during the final stage of production. That'll cost the owner, but will nix the destination charge, as well.
- Have periodic pictures taken of your Jeep as it's being assembled. From raw materials to a finished product.
- Automation updates. That way, you don't feel guilty for asking a person at Jeep Chat.
- Graphics that show a representation of where your Jeep is in the production process... complete w/ the color/options you ordered. (If it's orange and has a painted hardtop, but black fenders, display that)
- Constant ETA updates.

Lots of things could improve this purgatory we're in waiting on it to come in.

Those are real good suggestions Sprinkles. The only one I don't think you'll ever see is the one where you drive it out of the plant! The other ideas though, awesome! How cool would it be to have a pic of your car body being lowered down onto its chassis.

Probably tomorrow, although I check everyday and although Jeep Chat said it has been in KZ for two days the sticker FOUND only showed up today.

Those are real good suggestions Sprinkles. The only one I don't think you'll ever see is the one where you drive it out of the plant! The other ideas though, awesome! How cool would it be to have a pic of your car body being lowered down onto its chassis.

Something similar to driving it out... Corvette lets you help assemble the engine on a ZO6 and you can leave the production plant w/ your car. It costs money to have that package, but it is available.
