Well the good news Christine is that Saturday and Sunday come once a week. I see you're a salon owner so maybe Monday? Either way there's still plenty of summer left. I know the wait stinks but I'd rather wait and get what I want then settle for something.
Right again! Patience is just NOT my virtue! Fingers crossed that mine arrives this week and I have it for my vacation that begins Sunday!!! As I was typing I got a text from the dealer. It just arrived on the rail to the yard about 2 hours away. He said it's usually 2-3 days for delivery to them! Wahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From what I can tell, shipping to us in the Northeast seems pretty fast.

I was told last week after i found out it was in Iowa that it could take up to a week before it arrives at the dealer and that they were going to have my sales rep contact me w/the most current information. The sales rep contacted me, said they would give me the information and didn't hear anything else out of them. Be so glad when it gets here so i don't have to deal w/this anymore.:headbang::headbang:

I haven't checked Jeep Chat since mid-last week. Got tired of hearing "It's waiting for additional packages to be installed." Since I've gotten no Sticker Found emails and it's not showing up on page 1, I'm just leaving it alone.

It appalls me how inattentive they are to this! For the money we spend, we should be getting daily updates! (Ok, that might be a little much, but geez!). Sorry they are not more communicative and helpful! Hope it comes very soon!!!

At the end of the day, it's not that big of a deal. It is simply a 1st world problem and I have to remind myself of that. Like others have said though, this ordering and waiting process has woken the kid inside of me, like a child counting down the days to Christmas.

At the end of the day, it's not that big of a deal. It is simply a 1st world problem and I have to remind myself of that. Like others have said though, this ordering and waiting process has woken the kid inside of me, like a child counting down the days to Christmas.
You are so right, but that doesn't mean the process couldn't be improved!

You are so right, but that doesn't mean the process couldn't be improved!
Oh, there's so much improvement that could be done...

- Offering a package that allows you to drive the Jeep out of the plant during the final stage of production. That'll cost the owner, but will nix the destination charge, as well.
- Have periodic pictures taken of your Jeep as it's being assembled. From raw materials to a finished product.
- Automation updates. That way, you don't feel guilty for asking a person at Jeep Chat.
- Graphics that show a representation of where your Jeep is in the production process... complete w/ the color/options you ordered. (If it's orange and has a painted hardtop, but black fenders, display that)
- Constant ETA updates.

Lots of things could improve this purgatory we're in waiting on it to come in.

I also am getting more disappointed by the day as several folks on here have ordered weeks after I ordered and are preparing to take delivery or already have taken delivery. Apparently delivery to the upper Midwest takes longer than to both coasts....doesn’t make sense to me. I was invoiced and shipped a week and a half ago.

The dealership just told me my Jeep has arrived in Selkirk, NY and should be unloaded today. I wonder if yours is on the same railcar.
Mine arrived in East Brookfield MA today, so probably not! Nice thought though! :)
