I hit JB on Thursday too. I'm going to check in again tomorrow....fingers crossed.
The only things on my build that I can even think would cause it to go to JB are an engine block heater (since I live in Southern Arizona), but one of my planned trips is to Prudhoe Bay in Alaska and the tow and HD auxiliary group. The dual tops is easy as you just put the premium soft top in the cargo area, the all weather floor mats should be a 5 minute job. I would have to believe that the 8.4" infotainment, LED lighting, and cold weather group are done on the assembly line. I will check back with Jeep chat on Tuesday and see where the Jeep is at.
I didn’t do the engine block heater, rail system, steel bumpers or upgraded wheels since I plan to change those. I think I opted for everything else....I agree, you would think most of that would be done in the assembly line. I was a little concerned that it sat in inspection for a week, I guess better safe than sorry.
i ordered same date.... finally got a 'G' Code today.Awesome, I went on vacation for a week and it looks like my Jeep got built while I was away. I checked right before I left and I was in D1, and this morning Jeep Chat says I'm in KZ. I got an email Wednesday saying the build sheet was found, so that was pretty quick. My original order date was 5/18, so that's just under a month, including a couple of weeks of shutdown. Now I need to go pester my dealer.
I bet you don't have long until shipment. It looks like once they start building them, they're pretty quick.
I'm sure if you restarted a new chat and got a different representative they would tell you the code. I always received the code when I asked (which was too many times I should admit to). They all take different approaches - even with the verification process at the beginning - some ask for the last 8 digits of the VIN and others ask for your address, phone, email and full VIN. I guess it just depends on who their teacher was in training.Just contacted chat for an update. WTH? I know its probably still JB but what is this crap about not providing status codes?
The dealership (sales manager) placed the order as a stock inventory order which takes much longer to build the jeep than customer sold orders. By the time we got the general manager involved it was too late to cancel the order. Jeep can remove or add anything they want to a stock inventory order. They just happened to remove the cold weather package from our order. Living in the midwest the cold weather package is one of my must haves.
