Hello all, just tried to order a 2019 JLUR with the v6, but that engine is currently unavailable. Anyone know how long this could last? Hoping the dealership can get it ordered as soon as possible!

My guess is that is the first sign of getting ready for the 2020's.

Just finished talking with Vivian on Jeep chat, my build is finally out of inspection and into JB status.....getting closer....

I am still in JB status. Interesting that it must have passed inspection, but is there a final inspectionafter JB?

You ordered your Jeep during the re-tooling for the 2020's. The plant was shutdown from May 13 - June 2.

Jeep delivered to dealer last night. Interestingly, I checked with Jeep chat yesterday (Thurs) morning and got the usual, it's in the shipping process but can't give you an ETA and no other substantive info provided. A couple hours later my dealer emails me that the Jeep was put on a car carrier the night before (i.e. Wed night) - so, again, Jeep chat didn't provide any real info - including that the Jeep had in fact been put on a car carrier and left their facility the night before. So while I've found Jeep chat to be somewhat informative in providing progress updates throughout the build process, they were of no significant help (at least in my case) in providing status updates (such as what are the issues that are causing the delay in shipping, when might it leave the facility, what place in queue is it to leave, ETAs, etc) once the build was completed and the Jeep was waiting to be shipped - that's not a criticism of the nice people/bots on Jeep chat, but it is a criticism of Jeep customer service - which has some room for improvement IMO.

Possibly, but the 2020's aren't expected until the fall. Not sure if they'd shut it down this early. Especially if nothing's changing on the 3.6 or the Jeep itself. However, I suppose the new diesel could be throwing a kink in the system.

On one of these postings, they showed they are going to start the MY20 builds mid July.

My window sticker was generated yesterday (woo hoo) and Jeep Chat said it was built and approved for shipping, but no shipping date assigned yet. Anyone know how long it has been taking to ship to east coast once built, by any chance? Yes I'm very excited!
