It comes down to what the Decibel Monitor says. Since what we hear is subjective, a number is used as a measurement. So many Decibels , at a given distance, at a certain rpmIt depends on the State you live in. For instance, we still have a resonator upstream. That is also considered a muffler device. The turbo itself also muffles the exhaust note a bit. For all intents and purposes the Neon SRT4 was straight piped from the factory, however it had two inline resonators towards the front. It really comes down to semantics.

Is there ANY drone at all. I learned after changing the exhaust on my Tundra, that drone leads to insanity....but pretty much silent at cruise.

Once it's at cruise I don't notice it much, but it is there. I'd say around 3,000 RPM it's the most noticeable. Taking a 7 hour road trip this weekend with a lot of freeway so I'll have a bit better idea if it's annoying. To answer your question, yes it has some.Is there ANY drone at all. Is that the Smittybilt bumper? Is so, I'd also have to relocate the tow plugs.
It looks great. I'm interested but can you still fit the freedom panels and the bag under the slipstream cover? I remove my panels often and put them in the back. It's a tight fit so I'm curious if they will still fit.I installed a Diabolical Slipstream system. I like the product a lot, however, I would have liked some JL dedicated instructions. I received instructions for a JK, a supplemental sheet for the JL subwoofer system, and used a handful of different install videos from their website. It would only take a day to go through and take pictures of JL relevant parts and provide instructions as such. Yes, together, they all got the job done... but there is a lot of room for improvement. At least I’m ready for a topless summer.

Since changing my key fob to the AJT Designs holder, it's been an inconvenience to pop the key out of the plastic cover to lock the center console. Bought and put the Tuffy Center Console Lock Box and Bartact Center Console Cover on.
Lock box was not as difficult as people made it out to be, just put it together before you install and you'll be fine. Took me ~10 min to put it together. I did lose the ability to have my Vehicle OCD organizer though, but I would rather have a lock box for when I have my doors off.
I have the same set up In my Rubicon. I’ve been thinking about getting the combination lock ,think it’s around $25.

How’s the ride with the rough country lift?@Rough Country Suspensions 2.5” suspension lift in, Mojito’d the shocks to match our steering stabilizers. Definitely a good height and decent ride so far. Stoked to get it flexed soon!
