It doesn't connect to the bumper, so I'm not sure why this would matter. Is it the two bolts that attach to the frame that you worry about? That is the only place where the rear flaps attach to the Jeep.

I'll post picturesIn a little bit. I know it doesn't connect to the bumper. The bumper gets in the way and causes it to bend.

Got my RokBlokz XLs installed. I tweaked a few things. First was using black cap-head screws on the front that I could technically hand loosen, but I'll have allen wrenches with me any time I'm going offroad anyways. The second was to use the plastic screw covers that @jeepixel mentioned. Ultimately they're all hidden in the fender well, but if I end up extending them they will be there. I may come back with plastidip like @DWS44 used. I picked up all the hardware at Home Depot and will include a picture below for part numbers.
VERY helpful, thank you!

I don’t. I think mine is the same as yours. My flaps do press against the rear bumper, but this doesn’t seem to be a problem. I won’t be notching my bumper.

2018 rubicon 2 door

I hope all you guys with a 2018 2DR Rubicon will see this. There are no mopar molded mud guards for 2018 Rubicon but there is an excellent solution. I had a 2016 2DR Hard Rock with OEM Mud Guards. I keeped them when my lease was up. At first glance they did not fit mt 2018. I looked for the right ones but there are none. Then it came to me! I put the 2016 mud guards on the oven at 300 degrees for about 5-10 min. Thery then became soft and malleable. I was able to bent them to fit. By dry fitting you will see where to bend them to fit. Just screw them in. Looks Great!!! I will upload pics soon. PS do not remove the plastic rivets that are there. Instead drill the mud flap so they sit flush. good luck, Eric

Installed the rears today in my sport. Added a new rear bumper from a.d.d. Solved the problem with sport one piece bumpers. Also added dring shackles.

Love my RokBlokz flaps. Just drove home from the mountains in rain/snow. Absolutely spotless!

Size XL. Stock 33" tires.
