I got my XL rokblokz and have a question. The photo in the instructions dont look like mine. How do i know if i have the XL or not? Anyone have pic's of the XL?

The logo comes in several colors. The logo color doesn't dictate size.

FYI the instructions say you need patience for removing the stock clips. I just ripped the heads off and pushed them through since I lack patience.

@RokBlokz: I just watched a YouTube video of LiteBrite with their Razr in W. Virginia. They just installed a really cool set of RokBlokz for the machine. The one thing I really liked was the hardware used to secure them. Wish the Jeep kit used the same stuff.

RokBloks sent me these nice fasteners and a set of black knobs. I'll probably never remove these as I'm not a rock crawler. I think they look finished.

how did you get black knobs and hardware? im not finding it on their site. I have a set on my JLUR and would like to xout the white knobs.

email them and ask for black knobs or the countersunk washers and screws that I got. They will sell you them. I got the black countersunk washers and I had to paint the screws they sent black to match. They have multiple colors too.

One on my rear fender, and today on a lower hinge. I have stock tires and wheels, and bought the standard width flaps. I have emailed the company to see if the wider ones would have helped more.

Being on the road has just as much potential for chips as off-road (maybe even moreso given higher speeds on road).

I don't think it's the width, there is still potential to get debris on the lower rear hinge as well as the rear fender. The mud flaps minimize the risk, not eliminate. They just can't hang low enough to guarantee you won't get chips. Not sure if your fenders are painted or black, but there is paint protection film for the fenders if painted. If plastic... that's just the way it is. You can get hing covers if you REALLY don't want any chips, but personally I think they're ugly if not the same color as the Jeep. Others have put rhino lining on the hings or (again) protective film.

That's just part of having pieces that stick out from the body where the tires can fling debris and hit. Below is my before and after the rokblokz install (and some touch-up paint):

My fenders are painted and have the protection film and the rock went thru it, I cant tell if it got to the paint or just messed up the film. Going to touch up the hinge. May try the hinge covers later. Thx

So I have a 2019 Rubicon and know the Mopar mudguards will not fit because of the rockrails.

Last winter I installed a set of takeoff Sahara running boards to deal with all the snow and salt being thrown up on the doors.

That said, does anyone know if the mudguards would now fit with the rockrails being gone?
