That's one way of looking at it - is any Wrangler really a "good deal"? It really comes down to what you want and how much you're willing to pay for it. To each their own...As always, any options you add in your car aren’t necessarily a good deal for you, but they definitely are for the manufacturer.
Bundling up options, oh yeah that’s where they make the real money. I obviously have a Rubicon which clearly is optioned enough. However, let’s not kid ourselves, there are no deals here. This is not a deal.
Just a personal opinion - I probably paid more for my Moab than I could have for a "somewhat-comparable" vehicle. But if I had bought a Rubicon I'd feel that I had over-spent even more, at least for what I want/need and would use it for.
