Mopar lift cost ?

i dropped off my JLU Sahara for some recall work and a few other things to be addressed and I went over to the parts dept and priced a 2” Mopar lift ( Dealer Installed) the lift is like $1300 and install was approx $1000 so is that high ?

Im not adding a lift real soon but would like to maybe put 35’s on it at some point, I’m not comfortable working on the suspension myself and like the warranty side of it for both parts and install so are there better options here in Houston Tx

That's a good price for the lift kit itself, depending on taxes etc. You can probably do better on the install labor. I've seen some folks getting installed for sub-$500 mark.

Yep I believe mopar lists it at 4hrs install if my memory is correct. If that’s the case.. ask them why they are charging 250/hr for install .. it would make since that they stick to the mopar guidelines

I would honestly find a local shop that is reputable and give them your business. I would also look at the JKS 2.5" JSPEC lift with upgraded Fox shocks as well. A local shop will treat you so much better in my opinion.

Mopar currently has a 15 percent off coupon that maxes out at $200 off accessories that I used. Definitely shop around when it comes to the install. There's 2 dealers near me (within 10 miles) and one quoted 850 while the other quoted 350 for the install.

Autonation Jeep Katy, just off I-10 and Mason, when it comes to a lift I am going to look around for other shops and lifts, not trying to get cheap but just want a lift so I can run 35’s and do some light off roading and keep the comfort I have now.

hate to break it to you but you got ripped off big time!! that lift is a 2.5 hour install at most. Ive done 3 so far and besides he fact its an overpriced lift with horrible dog shit springs and pointless control arms it shouldnt take more then 3 hours so that means that shop was charging you 333$HR and that a joke !! sorry you had a bad experience i charge 350$ to instal that lift here in NY

eBay has a 15% coupon today (max $100) code on their main page. I just ordered the Mopar lift for $1266 shipped. No tax on the item, coming from a Jeep dealer in NC.

The best my dealer would do was $1480 after tax.

Google the lift kit part number and go through a few pages of the results. You'll get a ton of these Mopar part sites with goofy names like OEMMoparSuperMegaPartsJeepOMGLiekOEM.com and what not, many of which have the exact same layout, but with varying prices. Your dealership should price match the cost plus shipping. I was able to get my kit for just a hair over $1,200, but I installed it myself.

I've done with this every JL part I've bought and I haven't paid MSRP on a single thing. I've even gotten a couple things for half, if not a less. Generally, though, I've saved a good 30-40% for things like the 3rd brake light wheel mount, the floor mats, and the cargo mat.
