Cost to install Mopar 2" lift

I compose a simple/short request for a quote and email it to the service departments of the nearby dealerships. Usually works well.

I dug this old one up. Obviously I change the 1st sentence depending on the addressee:

"I am in the process of ordering a 2021 Diesel JL from your dealership. Mopar now offers a diesel-specific lift kit (77072399AE). What would the installation cost be for that item?"

It is not that hard at all. I installed it 2 times on my 2020 Rubicon Diesel. Diesel version was not available in 2020 so I bought and installed one for 3.6l engine. When diesel version became available I bought it and swapped springs and shocks. I did not bother to replace rest of the parts like upper and lower arms since the only difference is in the springs. Rest of new lift parts and used springs and shocks are for sale. I used it les than 5,000 miles.

I do not, and I installed the lift twice. But, when I was installing second lift right front it was not sitting straight and it was bowing pretty bad. I dropped the axle and realigned it. It was good after that. You have to make sure that spring is sitting centered on bottom and top rest. Top one is easy to miss and it will cause bowing.

I just bought the Lifetime MaxCare warranty, so I'm not interested in doing any life myself (not like I know how any way).

Anyone have any idea how much it'd cost to have the dealer install the 2" Mopar life? Also how much the dealership charges for the actual life hardware as well?

Also, last question: we have a Sahara. The dude we bought it from said it has a 1" factory lift. Is it even worth getting the 2" Mopar lift since I guess in reality I'd only be getting another inch?

Save your money, that kit sucks. It shifts your axles and your flex is limited to your bushings. No gain over stock.

I’m paying $600 cash in Houston. I’m using the same place the dealer sends their Jeeps to—that includes new alignment

Which place? I have a JL ordered and I want to lift it as soon as it comes in.

I used the dealer in New Braunfels TX and paid $1910 and that includes the Mopar lift, an alignment, and labor. She rides better than factory.
