@SteadyC, thanks for the info regarding Ace Enginering’s rocksliders/2door Rubicon. My wife, all 5’-2” barely makes it into our stock Rubicon. I’m considering Goodrich KO2 35s, with Fuel 18-9” wheels, no lift, yet. Anyone’s thoughts or experience, thinking of putting the KO2-33s and Rubi rims on her 2011 Grand Cherokee. The market seems flooded with Rubi tires/rims and the GC tires have 48K miles on them. I test fitted my spare and drove around town, no rubbing.

Hey all happy Sunday. I got the pool closed, the fire pit opened and made 2 1/2 gals of apple pie shine for this weekend away.

I didn’t remember, do you have a Rubi? If so, the Ace is the only one I’ve seen thus far.

Here’s a link to their 2 door rock rails, @Powdrmut
http://www.aceengineeringandfab.com/ACE-JL-Rock-Sliders-2-Door-_p_276.html

There’s a pic of a Rubi with Rubi rails and Ace installed, post 72, and then post 99 as well.

Helpful - thank you, Chad. Those rock sliders are on my radar too.
I first want to give myself a few weeks before jumping into anything as I really like the look of my Rubi “as is”. I think it would also look very cool with these rock sliders, but I’d love to see a few more 2-door pics before pulling the trigger. And getting in ain’t so bad after all: definitely a bit of a hop and pull-up, but I enjoy the reminder that this is not just any vehicle!

Hey John, you and Cristina seem to suggest Ace is releasing rock sliders applicable for the JL two door? If so do you have the part #. I only see the 4door JLU set on their website...Thanks

Best lil pickup EVER! Our load out, coming back from camping and running the backway in to Crown King. We found the hard way in, quite the trail. Took us about 5.5 hours doing all the extra credits. Don't mind the fender liner or missing license plate holder.

You have to get the Ace sliders from Ace Engineering. I'm waiting for mine to ship, shouldn't be too much longer since they spent my money already a while back. I'll be sure to post a pic or two once they are installed.

That would be great - thanks, Mike. Would love to see a few more pics of those sliders on 2-doors.

Thank you!!! :)
I have a Bachelor’s degree in business & marketing & went right into an office job for a while after school. When I got laid off from that job, I was back in school within a month to get an Associate’s degree in communications. I would love, love, love to keep collecting degrees (self proclaimed nerd & proud of it!:like:), but daaaaamn they can be expensive! :headbang::giggle:

I love financial freedom & successes, too! :fist bump: I fully support everything I have & do in my life on my own & I love the pride I feel from that! It makes everything I’ve accomplished so much more meaningful. That’s actually part of how Vida got her name, since Vida means life. She’s a dream come true representation of what I’ve done, what I’m doing & what lies ahead. :involve:
Pura vida! (Pure life)

And yes, I did PlastiDip the spare just to see how it would look on the GC......
Thanks Mike, and Cristina,..... ordered them......7-10 business days! I’ll post some pics of Granite Crystal Rubi after the install. Only mod so far is Mopar floor liners & front bumper with 20” led light bar. Maybe upgrade to 35” KOs in future....

Good thread, thanks! yes, thanks! Yes, I have a rubicon. The post picture 72 is really nice. Plus the thread praises customer service. Seems if you mention you are a forum member there is a discount, around 10%. Can’t beat that, I think I’ll pull trigger next paycheck!

FYI, everytime some calls a “Jeep” a “car”a kitten dies.......
