Jus heard someone talk about their 2-door sports car (a BMW roadster). And in my mind I was thinking - no, no, no... this is a real 2-door sports vehicle!!

I’m not saying a nice roadster can’t be cool. If you can’t drive it on dirt roads and if you don’t have room for your gear in the trunk, I don’t really see the sport in it, but hey, to each their own!
Please don't bash my Vette, there is plenty of room in the back for my clubs too! :)

I saw next week in another thread (Sep 12). Seems early to me but I think that’s the working theory.
The reason I asked was that it seems by now,
jeep website would have 2019 Info and options.

Ya, the extreme heat is also not great for topless. Unless you love to fry.

I think rocksliders is a project I can manage, and is on my to do list. Are there any other brands other than ACE where you can keep the rubi’s own sliders?

Mine just shipped to California, which means I'll have some driving to do soon. I have to remove the stock sliders tho.

I've been looking for that myself and haven't found any yet.

Hey John, you and Cristina seem to suggest Ace is releasing rock sliders applicable for the JL two door? If so do you have the part #. I only see the 4door JLU set on their website...Thanks

I didn’t remember, do you have a Rubi? If so, the Ace is the only one I’ve seen thus far.

Here’s a link to their 2 door rock rails, @Powdrmut
http://www.aceengineeringandfab.com/ACE-JL-Rock-Sliders-2-Door-_p_276.html

There’s a pic of a Rubi with Rubi rails and Ace installed, post 72, and then post 99 as well.

Random thought of the day: 2 door wrangler with rear seat out = the only convertible small pickup?

looks like a good day to take Jeep and dog to the river :)
Probably the only "current" one. Chevy had the SSR from 2003 to 2006. I used mine as a mini convertible truck the other day in fact. Loaded to the hilt with stuff for Goodwill. Have to make another trip but I put the top and doors back on today since it has been in the 40's in the morning.
