My only other experience with a transfer case selector was on a 96 Ram 2500. It was really easy to select drives as the stick was about 30" long and had mega leverage.
On my 2026 JL I have to use a lot of force to get the lever to move between all the modes.
By "a lot of force" I mean A LOT OF FORCE! Enough so that I was afraid I was going to bend the linkage.
I finally got it down and can shift in and out of 2hi and 4hi without issues (but with more force than I think I should have to use) but even following the manual I'm still having issues with 4hi to neutral, neutral to 4lo and back up to 4hi.
Is this normal or am I just getting weak in my old age?
