I currently have the Squadron-Pro-R in my OEM steel bumper in place of the OEM fog lights. I love them and when I got the email for the 2.0 version and saw the improvements, I immediately put these on the wish list. I love their stuff!

Awesome! I'm looking to put some of the pros up on my a-pillar, using the Motobilt mounts. My rig is stock atm so I'm not sure if I will like the new look once they go on. It may take some getting used to. In terms of actual functionality though, these things are IMO the best on the market.

Are these a totally new update?

Several years ago I did some extensive side by side testing with the Baja Designs Squadron cube lights, Rigid cube lights, and some cheap Harbor Freight knock-offs. The Baja Designs lights were my least favorite.

The housings were not as nice, the wiring and connections were not the standard used in the industry, and the light output wasn't as good in terms of beam pattern or coverage. I was quite surprised that for $200 bucks the BD lights felt and performed worse than the $20 junk I picked up at a local store. In fact, I somewhat preferred the Harbor Freight lights because at least those used quality wiring and standard Deutsch connections to make swapping/interchanging lights simple.

If anybody finds these new Squadron lights 88% off sticker price somewhere, let me know and I'll gladly give them a fair review.

Was this document anywhere? Interested to see the results and what lights were tested. Where was the test performed?

@Baja Designs, is there a version with brackets for mounting in place of the fog lights in the Mopar steel bumper?
The exact model is Squadron 2.0 (Sport or Pro) -R (I swear that means round). I have the 1.0 version in my mopar steel bumper and love them. I'm currently ordering 2.0 to swap in.

I didn't see the Squadron 2.0 via the link that @WrangleredUp posted above. Below is a link directly to it, where you can choose between SAE and PRO. Just make sure to get the -R version.
