Good point. The V8s get better MPG. So why is the government favoring a 3.6 over it ? My 1995 Impala SS with the Corvette (RT1 ?) got 25 miles per gallon highway 30 years ago. Gas mileage hasn't improved 1 MPG in 40 years! My 1985 CJ-7 got 20 highway and 17 city. 40 years later (WITH START/STOP) My 2021 JLU gets 20 mpg highway and 17 city. CAFE is a bunch of BS and probably increases the price of a Jeep by 5k minimum. The 5.7 at a 4k premium would increase Wrangler/Gladiator sales 100k plus the Gladiator is under powered w the 3.6.Dont they have to go through the same sh!t just to sell a hand full of 392s. Sounds like it would be worth while to sell a lot of 5.7s
