I bought the Quadratec table Initially; good features and seemed solid. After a few trails and subsequent gravel roads the damn thing sounded like a full auto popping off and eventually rattled all the hardware out.

Switched to an AAL VersaTable. Much smarter features and the thing is solid as hell. Buy once cry once:

That light was a great idea, nice.

I spent too much money on the AAL Versa Table w/bamboo and color matched. But it is awesome! Beautiful design, top notch quality, and very solid. Love the light and the almost hidden hinges that don’t get in the way like lanyards or traditional hinges.

Looks nice. How does it unlatch? Is it 1 handed?

If I didn't already have a table I'd consider this one. I like the idea of a light.

We have a JCR Offroad one that we have not been able to install yet. We have started, but after two different calls/emails/customer service requests to JCR, I'm not sure we will ever get it installed. So, my suggestion is to make sure that the table you buy has clear and thorough instructions, and is not so overly complicated that installation is a headache.

Either way, the MOPAR one I installed on the in-law's 392 was a breeze and serves them well, but it also doesn't have much in terms of storage (molle panels etc).

There is a recessed button just above the logo. It is recessed and behind the molle panel. If you zoom in, you can see it. The light is bright and really all you need for cooking/prepping food when dark. Pairing it with a Devos tripod light makes for a bright camp spot.

Wow! The color match is awesome! Now that's a tailgate table. You know what you got bro? Class. 👍

Thank you, sir! I put way too much time, effort, and money on my Jeep build (just ask my better half) but I liked to get it ‘right’ the first time these days. IIRC, AAL sent me to a website for color matching. You choose color swatches and they mail them to you for free or next to nothing.

I picked the closest to and was nervous… but for Snazzberry Pearl, I think it is pretty close. (They didn’t offer OEM paint codes).

If you happen on my build link you will see evidence of the ‘analist’ that I am. 🤣

For anyone interested, here are the instructions for our JL Versatable - https://americanadventurelab.com/files/instructions/JL-1500 - Versatable Instructions.pdf

That button is made by Quick-Latch in the USA and they the patent holder for that product. It's amazing, with a lifetime warranty! Great product. It sounds so nice when it clicks shut with a one handed open and close.
