I guess I'll figure out what is wrong first. I got a shop to look at it tomorrow so will hopefully get some news later this week on options.
Need to fix your avatar, it’s freaking me out…😬 …. 🤣

GM V8, they get swapped into everything and are a dime a dozen.
I have a zero hour 1999 cummins ISB 4BTA. It has the 16 valve head and rotary injection pump. A few small changes and it could make 212hp and 750ft lbs. That could be a lot of fun. Money and time are not agreeable with the swap though.
I would love to do an LS swap too....

80,000 mile maintenance items. As side from oil and filter change rear diff fluid, coolant, thermostat, and pcv valve. While draining the diff, I casually looking around and noticed my drive shaft slip boot is torn. 😑

Everything is in the way. I had to move the steering cooler out of the way to gets to the radiator drain.

Replaced the thermostat since I was draining the coolant. Throttle body was kind of in the way so I removed it. Since I removed it, might as well clean it.

PCV valve. And then cleaned the engine bay.

Badass. I want to flush my radiator too, but not sure if that's in my realm of skill.

Technically, I didnt flush the coolant I just drained whatever was in the radiator and hoses. It was about 1.5ish gallon I drained. The total system capacity is around 2.7 gallon.

If you only drain the coolant, its not hard. There is a drain valve at the bottom of the radiator, on driver side. I had a harder time due to the after market steering cooler in the way.

Ah I see. I may give this a try. I'm at 95k miles now.

Depends on how the old coolant looks, drain whatever you can from the radiator drain valve and add new coolant in. Turn the engine on and let it bleed. Turn the heat on full blast and drive around, and add more if needed. If you want, you can repeat the process 2-3 times to get as much fresh coolant in as possible. Mine didn't look too bad so I just did it once.

If you can get to the drain valve directly, you really only need a needle nose plier to do the job.

@Flip, I'll get back to you in a week with the exact locations of these screens, I'm on vacation this week w/o access to the jeep.
Edit: I see @ObiMatt87 (Thanks Mattt!) gave you the location. If you still need more info, let me know

Thank you, have a great vacation my friend. 🙏
Thanks! I laughed after I posted this. I'm retired, so I'm on permanent vacation! I should have just said we were out of town, and I'd get back.

Oh yeah, I didn't know you were retired. That's great, congratulations. And here I thought you were a young buck. Well, I guess compared to me you probably are. 😁

No he’s probably older than depths of the Mariana Trench like you are @Flip!
Let me try and explain something to ya my friend. When you get old 3 things happen. The first is, your memory goes, I can't remember the rest.

drove it to a jeep event. then took mom for a sangria on mothers day.
then was summoned by my brother to get beer for a mothers day bbq. thankfully had my fridge still in the jeep. transporting beer in 80 degree weather... no problem.
parked next to a joose willys and a new C8 in amplify orange at the store. not gonna lie the 3 looked good together.
Did you take a pic, Punknhed? I'd like to see a Joose on the loose, as well as the side-by-side comparison with Punk'n...
