80,000 mile maintenance items. As side from oil and filter change rear diff fluid, coolant, thermostat, and pcv valve. While draining the diff, I casually looking around and noticed my drive shaft slip boot is torn. 😑

Everything is in the way. I had to move the steering cooler out of the way to gets to the radiator drain.

Replaced the thermostat since I was draining the coolant. Throttle body was kind of in the way so I removed it. Since I removed it, might as well clean it.

PCV valve. And then cleaned the engine bay.

wasted $121 but I am a sucker for shiny things.....took about 10 minutes to install. zero difference in driving feel vs stock...but it is pretty.

I changed mine out with the AEV/Bilstein too. I did notice when removing the factory SS, I compress it with one arm. I needed both 💪 arms to compress the Bilstein.

Where/how can I find this? Its under apps?
Flip, yes, you should see Off Road Pages in your apps display. It'll display info when you are going slow for off-roading, but will not display pitch and roll for just normal driving. You can also see your various temperature gauges digitally represented, as well as what 4-wheel drive mode you are in. Pretty neat little app. The display of altitude is pretty cool, too. Noted that when I was up in the San Juans at nearly 13,000 feet a few years back.

Parked it until I can get some engine & coolant issues resolved. I'm not sure how many lives this Jeep has but I hope it has at least one more.

Transfer case project also got put on hold today so I can prioritize the engine. :(
Is this some sort of protest against your Jeep’s bad behavior or?

Last weekend I changed the transmission (manual), T-Case, and rear diff fluids. I went to do the front diff and disovered my jeep was built late enough in 2021 so there was no drain plug. So the only option is to remove the diff cover to drain it.

I thought well if I have to take the diff cover off I may as well replace it. When ordering the diff cover I thought if I'm replacing the front I may as well replace the rear while I'm at it.

So this weekend I installed new diff covers, front and rear. The entire job was pretty simple. My jeep is lifted enough so the front track bar was completely out of the way. I think the most difficult part was figuring out where to mark the dipsticks. It's not nearly as easy as they make it out to be in the install videos.

drove it to a jeep event. then took mom for a sangria on mothers day.
then was summoned by my brother to get beer for a mothers day bbq. thankfully had my fridge still in the jeep. transporting beer in 80 degree weather... no problem.
parked next to a joose willys and a new C8 in amplify orange at the store. not gonna lie the 3 looked good together.
