This may have been posted already, but can someone post a picture of how the log nut with locks look on the wheels? Do they look bulky?

I'm 6'4" and have had Jeeps since 1975. It's very easy to change the position of the handle when closed. Simply roll up the window, remove the handle & position it so it doesn't bug you! The handle has a Jesus Keeper.

I'm 6'5" and have driven a TJ for 18 years. If someone is complaining about the window handle they probably shouldn't be having a jeep. OR just take the doors off like they should be...haha

Not yet that I've seen. I'm hoping for something that doesn't add too much weight and allows me to keep from lifting my Jeep.

I haven't seen bikini tops or soft tops either, but I'm fairly sure we will have options by next year.

I have been looking around and Rock Hard makes a good aluminum skid package, just hope they do one for the JL

My red "unicorn" was delivered to the dealership late last night and I picked it up around noon today. At 7.5 weeks, it *seemed* forever, but that's nothing compared to how long some people have been waiting.

Has anyone bought the Mopar brand door sill guards which are tufted rubber and says Wrangler on it? Around $45 for 2 door model JL's.. Thoughts?

I got mine from the parts department.

It was cheaper but don't remember by how much. I think it's worth it.

Assuming that I don't drive it to the airport and leave it in covered parking there, it looks like I can shuffle around some stuff and there will be room to put it in my garage and still have my Harley on the same side parked crossways. My pitbull is right by the garage and alerts anyone if a stranger comes around The garage opener will be disabled and the "active defense" security system will be enabled even though someone will still be at the house. I have a couple of 55g drums and bags of lime, just in case something needs disposing of.

Beware of sociopathic engineers with too much time on their hands...

I put them on for aesthetics. They’re pretty useless, but look nice.

A person could probably buy some of the vinyl wrap film that is made in a diamond plate pattern and put it on the door sills. Eventually it might get a bit worn, so take a heat gun and warm it up a bit to remove it and put another piece there. You could put a lot of those down there for the $45 mentioned earlier.

In fact, R3 has precut PPF to do what you describe, but it’s not cheaper. (Some are doing both the PPF and the sill guards.)

Since you just took delivery, you should consider the R3 precut hinge guards. Cheap insurance against the rock chips your hinges will suffer with them.
